So can we talk about how Janelle has such a huge stage presence that she was able to dance for a good portion of time and was still getting hyped up by the crowd.

Nah it took her WAY too long to start singing, I get she wants to preform but girl!
Hmm, kind of disappointing. I loved the well-orchestrated chaos on stage with the musicians and dancers all being running around like mad, spilling out energy every second of the gig.
This is a blown-out-of-proportion dance-revue performance with a song whose musical ideas are stretched beyond the limits, while some faceless minions play somewhere in the background. I guess I'm going to watch her Glastonbury performances instead.....
Very disappointed by ACL. I gave this a fair chance, but it fails. The musicians are almost completely shadowed in the dark, and the musicians may well be talented, but had no opportunity to share it. Everything takes a back seat to the dancers. Sad.
so what, the music sounds great!
