@Carol Marks Too many. The disproportionate amount of POC deaths from COVID alone was too many compared to the white community. And I’m a white man saying this. Competent leadership would have been of great use to lessen the amount. The death total of POC might have been disproportionate compared to whites still, but it would have been way, way smaller. I don’t know the exact number due to my interest in history, but once history does reveal the final count I can already predict it will be too many.
That google search video on "why" got me crying at the end. 2020 was such a tough time for the whole world, definitely was for me I know. But we all got together. We as a people are going to survive these wounds and make the changes to be better and to cherish life so much more after this. I am so sorry for all those that didn't make it with us through this year. I will do everything to make it all mean something for the rest of my life.

Because they (the 126 Republican Congressmen) violated a clause in the 14th amendment barring rebellion against the Constitution that stae simply: men and women who would act to tear the USA government apart cannot serve as members of the Congress.

Case in point.....they completed the audit of Michigan Dominion machines and found a 68% error rate and what appears to be purposefully deleted adjudication file audit records. Go figure. Every time they actually get to dig into this cheat, there is clear evidence of serious and fatal problems. They were only allowed to look at 100 ballots in (was it Arizona?), and found a 3% error ....2 ballots for Trump counted as Biden and one Trump intentionally changed to include a mark for an over vote nullifying it. Every single error goes one way and every time they actually dig into it, they find serious errors. Something smells and its shameful Americans are willing to accept this obvious cheat.

Obviously in terms of sheer numbers of EVERYONE, 2020 is unbearably tragic, but in terms of public figures we look up to and inspire greater things, 2016 is still worse overall.

EXACTLY. The Party/ Candidate with the most votes at the end of the election count, wins. So does democracy. I 'll like to see compulsory voting in the US That way everyone truly participates in the process. I'm an Australian, so I understand how compulsory voting works. Personally I believe that the compulsory voting system we have in Aussie works well for us. It would work in the US but would take time to implement due to the many conflicting political views currently held. There are fifty separate states, hence, fifty separate governments. I think the long-term aim is to get to a position where Americans feel good trusting themselves and their Governments again. I am not preaching here. these are just my personal views.
@@TERRYMism Americans cannot be forced to do anything. They would fight being forced to vote and as a Canadian I would too. People that have no interests in politics shouldn't be forced to tick a box on a ballot. The reason why people are not voting is because many people believe the system is corrupt and it is a pointless effort.
In Canada we have no equal elected Senate. I live in a western province where my vote doesn't matter in elections because the two largest provinces determine everything. Also other provinces disproportionately have more seats in the House of Commons. Our country is ruled by Ontario and Quebec and they will never relinquish their power. That is why our capital city is situated between the two and all of our money goes there.
Our government also wastes so much of our money. Every department's only interest is preserving their budget so they can keep their jobs. They don't care about serving the people or doing what is right. Their only interest is pursuing their own wealth. The only thing I support is dismantling as much government as possible and letting people determine their own futures.
It's the only thing that makes the presidential election fair.

We saw that in the UK with Brexit - people who didn't pay attention to politics were easily led by lies, and them all voting screwed everyone over.
Honestly, forcing people who are ignorant of politics to vote seems dangerous to me.

Here in Australia we get fined if we don't vote. Everyone therefore participates and it works. BTW only a hand-full of people get fined every election cycle for not voting.
