A subjective examination of the patient is crucial to understand the condition and the real cause of the pain or the disease. And a good physiotherapist knows how much important it is to do a proper and complete assessment.
Sir need a video on cauda equina and pvid specific if possible as am.preparinh for my clinicals exam...pls request tk make a vdieo on that ...thanku sir
Thank you for the video. I’ve been very sedentary for years and have become overweight. I’d like to start working out but I have restrictions in mobility when squatting, restriction in Dorsi flexion and other muscles. I’d like to start weight training and hiit, is there some kind of full body assessment I could get from a physiotherapist so I know what my weaknesses are? If so, what would it be called? TIA
Yes if you see a good physio or even a personal trainer who knows what they are doing they can do a screening on you and then help by focusing on your areas of weakness and building you up. There is not really a specific name is just what should be at the start of any training program. Some people might call it a functional screen but I just think of it as a normal assessment of the quality of someone's movement 👍
A British sports video uploaded to RUclips without crappy free dance music in the background. Difficulty level: Impossible. Jokes aside, this is fantastic content. I was told to review taking a full subjective before my clinical rotation starts next week and this is pretty comprehensive. Just wish I could hear a little more clearly 😉
@@Physioplusfitness Hmm good question :) Maybe about how you handle dealing with patient expectations of physiotherapists (i.e. providing manual therapy, massage) vs EBP in the private practice setting, things you wish you knew as a new graduate and maybe some interesting clinical presentations you have personally seen and treated. I am a new grad so I love hearing what more experienced clinicians have come across. Thanks again!
Very comprehensive and useful for my musculoskeletal module as a physiotherapy student. Appreciate you taking time to make these educational videos!
Glad it was helpful!
