      Your feeling is 100p, I had a caddy for the first time 2 weeks ago at a dream course and it did add another level of intensity. Worth the money, however, if your spending a lot of money to play a course that isn’t straight forward from the tee.

    • @patrickscribner

      Trust me, they aren’t judging your game, they are just trying to get you around the course with a smile. Having a caddy is the best way to play courses like this. If you’ll only ever play it once, pay for the caddy, you’ll remember the round much better

    Another great video. So jealous that you played Bandon Dunes as that is on my bucket list. What is the cost to play Bandon Dunes? I understand you have to stay at their resort to play? Would love to see a video about the resort.
    And I never have played with a caddy before....I'm assuming you have to tip them at the end of the round? And if yes, how much is the average caddy tip?

    • @NotAScratchGolfer
      @NotAScratchGolfer  Год назад +2

      Bandon is so great. You do *not* have to stay on property in order to play! Depending on the time of year, rounds range from ~$100 - $350, with replays half off and your third round (if you can stomach it) free of charge. Fun fact, if you tee off for a *fourth* round in one day (only possible during June), they actually pay you *back* what you paid for your second round. So, essentially, you play 4 rounds (or however much you can finish) for the price of one.
      The caddy fees are conducted entirely between you and the caddy. The minimum fee is $100 and tipping is discretionary (standard tips seemed to be ~20%). It's also convenient that Bandon will charge your CC for any cash you may need to pay your caddy.
