I lost my wife 2 months ago. This is my first Christmas alone. I've spent the day and evening thinking about all the great times we had especially during the Christmas season. Music has always gotten me through the toughest times in my life and once again, tonight, Christmas Eve, I'm finding comfort in this wonderful music. I pray for those hurting like me tonight. To some it may be clear from the beginning, others take some time to discover their true purpose in life, however it does not mean yours is less valuable or important. we all have are times when we are depressed. I think the best thing to do then is to listen to music and read the bible or spend some time in prayer. Hope you fell better!
I empathize and relate a lot to those same feelings, and frankly they can get you really down really quickly. But, those bad feelings won't last for forever.. and I can assure you that you're not useless or bad. If you were then you wouldn't have thanked the channel for posting this video and you wouldn't have included the sweet sentiment at the end of your comment; that small paragraph shows a lot of people that you're kind and considerate, and those are qualities that will never be bad or useless for as long as the Earth spins. Sometimes it helps to sift through and find even the smallest things that make you feel uplifted, like listening to calm Christmas jazz (because it's honestly very heartwarming and soothing). For me, it helps to try and do something entirely new or something I haven't done in a long time (like a childhood hobby), routine sometimes makes days feel too repetitive and you get stuck in a rut. Watch an old show that you love, walk someplace that there's a lot of plants, choose a book at random and try reading it, create something, stretch and take naps when you need them, eat something you haven't had in a while, try jumping and bouncing around doing cartwheels like a little kid. I've had a dream for a long time to be able to open a cafe/used bookstore. Where loitering is encouraged and you can take and leave books from one of the many bookcases I'd have along the walls of the shop. Maybe sell soups, sandwiches and pastries as well, with music like this playing softly in the background. I know it will never happen but I can still dream
Don't say something will never happen! If you put out that negative energy you won't get the positive outcome you wish for. Instead say "I'm going to work hard so that I can make my dreams reality"

This looks more like a library than coffee shop. It reminds me a bit of the circulation desk in the Rose Reading Room in the main NY Public Library building. Many books are kept underground and if you need to request one, you fill out a little form, the librarian submits it and when it's ready, your number comes up on what looks like an old fashioned train arrivals/departures board. The decor is beautiful, a mix of art deco and very early 20th century
@Cee Jay Yes, still the same. The library is stunning every day but it's particularly beautiful at Christmas. Even though I live in Manhattan, I never get tired of visiting the main branch of the library and cannot recommend it enough to visitors.

I swear Christmas time is the best time around. They don’t lie when they say it is. Because this proves it. I’m imagining I’m in one of my favorite books and it’s Christmas time and I’m sat in the Gryffindor common room (Harry potter fans will get it) and I’m drinking hot coco and chilling out and there’s lots of Christmas decorations around and it’s snowing heavily outside and I’m also sat by a fire.

I wish human beings strived to make the world more beautiful like this. There are lots of gorgeous places to be in, true... but in a world growing into more and more industrialism, beauty is often not a factor put into architecture anymore. Sameness is common and I don't find comfort in it. This is beautiful and I've come back to this video every holiday season for almost 3 years because it allows me to feel I've been transported to a place I'd rather be in.

Listening to this as I grieve over my pet cat. She had a hip and leg fracture but was still so strong and had the energy to bite me at 3am. I fell asleep and woke up at 645am to see that she had passed even though she was supposed to go for surgery at 9am. Feeling completely broken but will heal in time.

I always go for walks in the Christmas snow storms just long enough to where I get uncomfortably cold and then I go sit by the fire in my basement watching Christmas movies with the family last year was minus 22 White out blizzard while I was driving home from the liquor store magical

OH gosh , what a very different and lovely coffee shop. It looks like someone's very elegant home . That fire place setting is gorgeous , who gets to sit there ? Its a lovely peaceful and serene ambience here . Its a really beautiful creation , and I enjoy looking at colours textures and lighting in images like these that are seen on RUclips . The colours in this image are rich and warm and the light reflection on that polished gorgeous timber floor are are part of this most enticing scene. Look at the reflection of light too on the books on the upper shelves of that bookcase . Custom made yet , built into the wall . This whole room is stunning , thank you so much . Love it .
I was about to say, I hardly see the bookstore in this. I've always wanted a library though with a roaring fire and armchairs. And coffee urns at the ready. Only thing that could make this better is a reclining chair and wifi (I like e-books and playing games on my tablet).

Good heavens man how much schooling have you had? Maybe a better question is what kind of upbringing have you had if you can't react intellectually or emotionally to any work of fiction, especially when it depicts something beautiful. I'm sorry for you.
I wouldn't be the least suprised if there came along a concierge as well. Its practically a hotel, with a centrifuge of snow or possibly world ending comets in the thousands outside. The lattice style (but on a large scale) windows also add to that mystical end of the world everything is fine feel that I get by this. The garland is nice of course dimly lit lights peaking through, fire in gentle uproar, and a wonderfully elegant seating with casting natural light showcases the mellow blues of the vast freezing and or radiated outside. Parallel of course to the quite finely embellished seating arrangement near to the fire. You can also get your drinks mixed it seems. How truly wonderful..and horrifying based on the scene that is unravelling outside.
This proves how art can touch us on such a deep and powerful level✨ Can you imagine being here? Thank goodness for RUclips, we can almost be there right now🤩 This makes me want to create calm videos instead of vlogs. This must be incredibly therapeutic to dream and design these stunning scapes 💛

This looks more like a library than coffee shop. It reminds me a bit of the circulation desk in the Rose Reading Room in the main NY Public Library building. Many books are kept underground and if you need to request one, you fill out a little form, the librarian submits it and when it's ready, your number comes up on what looks like an old fashioned train arrivals/departures board. The decor is beautiful, a mix of art deco and very early 20th century
@Cee Jay Yes, still the same. The library is stunning every day but it's particularly beautiful at Christmas. Even though I live in Manhattan, I never get tired of visiting the main branch of the library and cannot recommend it enough to visitors.

I swear Christmas time is the best time around. They don’t lie when they say it is. Because this proves it. I’m imagining I’m in one of my favorite books and it’s Christmas time and I’m sat in the Gryffindor common room (Harry potter fans will get it) and I’m drinking hot coco and chilling out and there’s lots of Christmas decorations around and it’s snowing heavily outside and I’m also sat by a fire.

Those castle arcade windows...it really creates an extraordinary mood. The only thing that consoles me about its nonexistence is that it would probably be forever crowded.
Sometimes life is so hard, and i feel so alone, listening to this soft music gives peace to my heart and mind, i'd love if it were xmas time all year long.....spring and summer make me feel so sad, maybe cause i see evryone having fun, and i feel like oblige to be happy too....

Just stopped in for a warm drink. It's two months to Christmas. Lowes and Home Depot already have the Christmas displays up. The brownies here are so good. With all this snow I will probably park my butt on a chair in front of the fire. Early Merry Christmas to everyone. Hopefully someone will shovel my car out of the snow so I can get home :)

I wish human beings strived to make the world more beautiful like this. There are lots of gorgeous places to be in, true... but in a world growing into more and more industrialism, beauty is often not a factor put into architecture anymore. Sameness is common and I don't find comfort in it. This is beautiful and I've come back to this video every holiday season for almost 3 years because it allows me to feel I've been transported to a place I'd rather be in.

Listening to this as I grieve over my pet cat. She had a hip and leg fracture but was still so strong and had the energy to bite me at 3am. I fell asleep and woke up at 645am to see that she had passed even though she was supposed to go for surgery at 9am. Feeling completely broken but will heal in time.
I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope she rests in peace. I just know that she was very loved, and is probably watching over you right now. Take things slow and easy, and know that you both love each other very much.

I always go for walks in the Christmas snow storms just long enough to where I get uncomfortably cold and then I go sit by the fire in my basement watching Christmas movies with the family last year was minus 22 White out blizzard while I was driving home from the liquor store magical

OH gosh , what a very different and lovely coffee shop. It looks like someone's very elegant home . That fire place setting is gorgeous , who gets to sit there ? Its a lovely peaceful and serene ambience here . Its a really beautiful creation , and I enjoy looking at colours textures and lighting in images like these that are seen on RUclips . The colours in this image are rich and warm and the light reflection on that polished gorgeous timber floor are are part of this most enticing scene. Look at the reflection of light too on the books on the upper shelves of that bookcase . Custom made yet , built into the wall . This whole room is stunning , thank you so much . Love it .
I was about to say, I hardly see the bookstore in this. I've always wanted a library though with a roaring fire and armchairs. And coffee urns at the ready. Only thing that could make this better is a reclining chair and wifi (I like e-books and playing games on my tablet).

I wouldn't be the least suprised if there came along a concierge as well. Its practically a hotel, with a centrifuge of snow or possibly world ending comets in the thousands outside. The lattice style (but on a large scale) windows also add to that mystical end of the world everything is fine feel that I get by this. The garland is nice of course dimly lit lights peaking through, fire in gentle uproar, and a wonderfully elegant seating with casting natural light showcases the mellow blues of the vast freezing and or radiated outside. Parallel of course to the quite finely embellished seating arrangement near to the fire. You can also get your drinks mixed it seems. How truly wonderful..and horrifying based on the scene that is unravelling outside.
