Had a b210 from 1988 till 1993. Called it "Desert Rat"...living in New Mexico it would take me anywhere I wanted to go. I drove that beast offroad so many times, always got me home. One of my favorite cars.
I had a 78 B210 in high school. I drove it 1985-86. I rebuilt the motor myself with a Chiltons manual. Those were the good old days with a carburetor, points, & plugs. Nothing simple about the engines in cars today.
It looks just like my first car when I was 16 (many moons ago). Mine was a 77 which I drove the c%$p out of from 82-85 until the drivers seat started falling thru the floor. The guy who bought it from me entered it into a demolition derby. I wish I had the sense to keep it to restore. So many good memories. Loved that car!
My aunt and uncle had a blue B210. I think it was a 1976. I rode in it a lot and watching this video I can conjure the cars scent, feel that perforated vinyl upholstery. It just all comes back to me.
I had one blue,it was a wonderful car ! I drove it off road many time with no issues. I would still have that car, but one day my drunk father in law drove into a canal.
I am sorry, damn drunks,i had a dark blue one 1976 hatch back loved that little car. A pink elephant ran out in front of me late one night and It rolled over🙃I was young and dumb. That was 1980.Gosh I miss it, and my youth😅. Thinking of getting another as a retirement present to me soon, I'm 65 oh boy!
This looks so much like my little gem I sold in Calgary back in '85. Although mine was metallic blue, had a vinyl roof, mags and a Pioneer sound system worth more than the car, back then(ha). Great trips through the Rockies and Vancouver Island. Great memories!
Sounds like same trim package as my 76 I rolled in 1980,had American racing aluminum wheels and a sorta landau white vinyl top . Upgraded stereo with speakers in the rear hatch area louvers on hatch back window , pretty dark blue.
Beautiful restoration. My second car after a gas guzzling Ford Maverick with an 8cyl302 was a blue manual shifted '76 B210 . Great little car. Even modified it with a no points electronic ignition.
My Datsun gets tons of attention too. It is funny how so many people connect with these cars remembering their parents, uncles and even themselves having one or two. My cousin has my Datsun for the winter and he can't believe how many people approach him to talk.
Great looking B210, excellent job! I'm looking for a hatchback B210 myself to build a 140Z clone (look it up, it was a special version of the B210/Sunny sold in very limited numbers in Africa).
I am very much an original condition kinda guy. But I must say your custom mods are very appropriate and nicely done! I have a 76 b210 in its original unrestored condition... Thx for vid!
like the video, got to say it looks awsome. i have a 76 b210 and love the car but i really hate working on it. Its become the money pit from Hades. LOL one day it will get back on the road. parts are as hard as hens teeth to find.

Great restoration. I just saw a white one last night, had to do some ŕesearch to find what model I was looking at.

NOT MUCH of an ACTUAL CAR, though.
The 70s maverick with inline 6 was tough and pretty quick , indestructible gas milage so so

Here to see what Chris McCandless's car was (the movie 'into the wild'). Very nice, the kind of car I grew up longing to own as a kid...!

Dude, I am in Toronto and I'd love to get together. I have a 1979 140Y.
Check OneNice140Y.
In the North, these made us HATE Japanese cars MORE!
Those US spec bumpers are bloody horrible. Also don't like the jacked-up suspension.
Its mimicking a 70s American muscle car look, kinda cool
