Hello everyone and thank you for watching our instrumental cover of Cohen’s masterpiece, Hallelujah. For all of you who have followed us so far: you know well that in each of our arrangements you will find Ele's rock, with her badass electric guitar, but also the classic side of Ari, with her acoustic violin. We recorded this song just as we play it live, without a metronome but following each other. The drums you hear are composed and performed by Ele (yes, she and the rhythm are one!)
Before recording the song, we wondered whether to add drums to such an acoustic song. The answer, in the end, was spontaneous: we simply added the drums that we feel inside us when we play Hallujah playing only violin and electric guitar. So the drums you hear in the chorus of the song are a bit crazy and erratic :) this rhythm section comes from our heart and we wanted to share it with you. The set is the wounderful island of Sardinia, Ele's native home. Hope you'll love it as we do.

I absolutely love listening to this song. Many artists have recorded Hallelujah. The two women played together perfectly and the violinist is really quite good. For those who are complaining about what they’re wearing I guess you haven’t seen the almost totally naked dresses that actresses are wearing two huge events like the Academy Awards, the Emmys, and the golden globes, just to name a few. I think I’ll play this over right now.
I listen to this over and over and over. Leaving life as we know it to a what we are supposed to be ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

With dozens of artists doing covers that might as well been carbon copies of the original, it was nice to see and hear one that holds true to the root meaning of the song, yet you talented ladies gave it a spin and made it your own with your own style and embellishments. Bravissimo ! 👏🎵

Eine wundervoll zarte Version. ich hatte es eine Weile auf Endlosschleife, weil ich verstehen wollte was ihr da tut. E- Gitarren quietschen ja manchmal. Aber nach einer Weile war das vollkommen weg und die Seele tritt hervor. Die so unterschiedlichen Instrumente verschmelzen zu einer unglaublichen Einheit. Das ist großartig.

@Golden Salt I've enjoyed Leonard's music since the sixties. The first time I heard Hallelujah it was by KD Lang and my teenage daughter was listening to it. This is haunting as I think Leonard intended. Beautiful. I keep coming back to listen.

As a guitar composer/performer for comic book trailers, I've loved this song since I first heard the rendition by Jeff Buckley all performances of it are so good an you both sound so emotive and passionate! As a former viola student still influenced by orchestral players, I really like the violin arpeggios since their so heartfelt and the guitar lines intrigue. Many cheers!

I was doubtful of an electric guitar/violin combination, but it worked really well, the guitar anchors the bass notes and lets the violin just soar.
