Might not be a pro saw, I've had my 445 since 2013. It's fallen out of my truck, off the tractor, cut cords and cords of wood, fell in the mud, ran bar oil in the fuel tank (wasn't thinking), ice froze over the cooling fan vents until it smelled and ran funny, dropped and bucked trees that it probably shouldn't have, oil ports in bar clogged until bar was hot enough to sizzle spit, clean it when I think about it, original bar, a few chains. Never changed a plug because it runs like the day I bought it, air filter rarely gets dirty. Always used non-ethanol. Sure other saws are just as good or better. Only issue was my fault pulling the sprocket cover off with the brake on. Worth every penny, always starts when I need it.

      On my 445,
"ran bar oil in the fuel tank", I did that once,
"pulling the sprocket cover off with the brake on", did that one also.
      Great saw.
The worse thing about the 445 is the poor treatment the owner gives it.

Yeah I did that when I took the side cover off had the front hand guard engaged so far forward and it was a nightmare to fix it but it's a trusty saw still on my first chain theres nothing I can't buck yet.

    Whats the difference between a 445 & a 450? The muffler outlet hole size. The 445 is detuned 450. Same with a 435 & 440.
The 455 is a different saw. It has bigger main bearings and metal reinforced crank mounts.

I absolutely love my 455, it's a tough all round saw and very reliable. Great for firewood and the occasional tree felling. Run mine for about 3 years now with no issues at all!

445 is a de tuned 450. Same motor with a little less power. Mine has a compression release.

445 is an excellent saw. Owned mine for 6 years. Highly recommend husqvarna bar oil. Bar over-heated with cheap bar oil. I use V.P. racing fuels 50:1 fuel - runs very well. Starts every time with 2-3 pulls and does not die.
