    Superb rider!!! Amazingly they ride the course without changing gears or touching the clutch. Speed is controlled by the rear brake and throttle only. Had the chance to get closed-course lessons by Japanese motorcycle police/Honda motorcycle instructor (65 yrs. old and best rider I've ever seen) and it was a blast! Amazing how much control you have making 'clutchless' tight turns with only the rear brake and throttle once you get the hang of it. I hope the sport of gymkana takes off around the world and I truly believe that the more people are involved in this sport the less motorcycle-related deaths there will be due to the immense understanding you gain for the control of your bike doing this type of riding. Been riding off-road and street bikes more than 30 years and gymkana-style riding is the most fun I've ever had on a motorcycle... not to mention that the chances of dying are slim to none on a gymkana course.

      @@lIlIllIlIllIlllIllIIIIIIIIIlII Now's the time to get into it. Trust me. You learn so much so quickly it's amazing. I do it for fun (not quite good enough to compete yet, but definitely good enough to goof around :P). IMHO it benefits new riders the most, gets you fully in control of the bike before you've had much of a chance to have a mishap on a public road.
      Oh, and you won't stall your engine. The power stays on all the time, the brake is working against the engine. You get so much more precision that way!

    • @gregorylagrange

      @@Penguin_of_Death Misleading in two ways. Insinuates that he's making low speed turn leaning that far over, which he isn't, but infers that it was needed to hype up his skills on display as a rider. Which wasn't needed.
      Using a split second frame where he's in the moment of going down in a 3 minute video where he's showing that level of skill is misleading to the overall content of the video that shows that level of skill.
      I was going to just answer your question with a question, which I usually don't do, but decided to add it last. How'd you feel about a title to this video of "Watch how many times this rider gets sloppy and takes a fall!!!"?

    How do they make those tight slow speed turns without counter balancing/weighting, they're just leaning with the bike. Is there something I'm missing?

    Is there a set course to follow or is it freestyle within a time limit? Great skills but if you like this search for bike cop cone course. This bloke rides a road king round it like you wouldn't think possible.

      転倒によるダメージを回避する為に、カウルを外すのがマナーになっている事が多いです。
      レギュレーションによって、マフラーとステップとハンドル以外は、ストックの状態が義務になっているのが通常です。
      ホイールの変更も許可されません。

    I noticed that nobody is touching their clutch. I assume they're leaving it in one gear and using only the throttle and back brake?

    What bike is that? Also rear sprocket is looking fairly large, obviously a bike set up specifically for this.

    • @ka2099jp
      @ka2099jp  7 лет назад +5

      Because it is a rear sprocket that emphasizes acceleration performance, it is of a large diameter. The motorcycle is Suzuki, GSX - R 750. Removing the cowling, it is a naked silhouette type, so at first look what is this? do not understand, I think.
