Rainstorm Causes Massive Floods In Spain | Breaking News
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) today activated a red alert for the coming days in central Spain due to the risk of hail with the possibility of heavy hail.
The storm, which hit in the afternoon this Wednesday, caused extensive damage in Burgos and Andorra, in the province of Teruel, Spain.
Hail about four centimeters in diameter broke through several roofs, destroying cars and causing flooding of the lower floors of the building.
The storm covered most of the northern part of Teruel province.
Among the affected cities, Kalanda reappeared, which yesterday, Tuesday, was hit again by hail.
Hail also fell in other cities such as Alcañiz or Albalate del Arzobispo.
The damage was particularly severe in Andorra, where several roads were flooded and the strength and size of the ice ball crushed cars.
