She always saves emotional songs for judges.. but maybe she should try one emotional song for the actual performances and just interpret it well. It's not like she has anything to lose.
Saara does so much more than the others. Puts on a real performance rather than just standing there singing. Double the work, does amazingly well and still in b2. So unfair on her.
Sharon is a very good coach and Saara is coming along so well I might have to reconsider my early 1-2 picks of Matt and 5aM (five after midnight abbreviates to 5AM just noticed that LOL okay I'm slow). If she keeps this up, she might be in the top two.
Thank God for Simon Cowell for having the experience to see the potential of this girl and save her over those average singers in the girl group Four of Diamonds!Sharon is concentratingall her energy on her novelty act Honey Crap G,and just not giving this girl the Coaching that she needs and deserves...Too much props and way too much choregraphy! She is a brilliant singer and she needs to just rely on her God given talent and just not wait until its the sing off to show that she can sing!I am pulling my hair out!Come on Sharon Osbourne put down the glass for a second and do some Coaching....
ok now i m going to give positions after watching all performances 1st-emily middlemas 2nd-ryan lawrie 3rd-5 after midnight 4th-saara Aalto 5th-4 of diamonds 6th-honey g 7th-matt terry 8th-sam lavery 1st)-emily middlemas-emily the singing was beautiful but a bit pitchy at one part of the song 2nd)-ryan lawrie-ryan u are so entertaining to watch this week u are so on fire and that was so much fun u sang that song really well what a beautiful performance 3rd)-5 after midnight-good singing good performance that is so amazing everything of the performance was beautiful and sensational what a wonderful performance one more thing good song choice this is one of spice girls geatest hit song so well done or the song choice boys 4th)-saara Aalto-saara well done good song choice beautiful performance it just sound so good to the ears in the headphone your performance was absolutely brilliant and fantastic tonight u nailed it ! 5th)4 of diamonds-4 of diamonds u all have the best strongest vocals that sound amazing on this singing performance this week this week u all sound really like a girlband tonight i feel a strong bond of the vocal range and harmony u all have this week 6th)-honey g-good rappig performance so on fire this week 7th)-matt terry-matt beautiful performance but your performance this week when just now u sang to the left side of the audience your voice do drop a little bit of singing tone to be honest but the singing was still good and great dancing it was brilliant 8th)-sam lavery-sam your singing voice consist of a rock voice i understand that u are challenging with that song and take a risk but u have to know this is a competition when i hear u singing in the headphone it just sounded average but what i only like is your choreography that was beautiful
I do not understand the theme, what were they going for and what has this to do with the song? I agree with Simon, she does not need the costumes she can be crazy/fun on her own. Nicole was right too, she is technically too good to do Girls Aloud songs. "I hate this part" by the PCD would have been better.
Saara is without doubt the best singer in the X factor, but production knows that the winner of the British X factor was never a stranger. She accepts everything that is imposed because she believes that it is best for her. She thus becomes a producer experiment with every performance but British public has their favorites and is expected that that she will soon have to turn out from the show. In the British X Factor is not crucial vocal abilities but personalities and support of the British public. Therefore, it often happens that the best singers do not reach the final. (Ella Henderson)
and now for points for performance 1st-emily middlemas -98 2nd-ryan lawrie-97 3rd-5 after midnight-95 4th-saara Aalto-94 5th-4 of diamonds-93 6th-honey g-92 7th-matt terry-90 8th-sam lavery-50
Hey whats with that red flower chest jewellery? I've seen it lately in many British tv-shows. I mean in Emmerdale i noticed that almost everyone had The same chestpiece. In many episodes.
come on now...she's a great vocalist, she doesn't need to resort to these absurdities, even lady gaga had to shed off her costumes just so her vocals can actually take the limelight..can you imagine adele doing this? and what's with the japanese theme?
maybe it's because i'm unfamiliar with this song, and have thus never got a chance to 'get bored of it', or what other beef people seem to strongly have with it; but i really like it! i think this may have been her best show yet. (excluding the sing-offs, with ballads stealing my heart away over these)
I was unfamiliar with it too, but I conclude the song is mediocre at best, no matter how well performed with no matter how gorgeous a voice. Nicole Scherzinger just nailed it in her critique. *The* problem, however, was the costume (especially the wig*) and the blinking tube (what was that?). There must be thousands of British youngsters watching the TV and either giggling hysterically (the smarter kids) or running to their mommies (the less smart kids) and screaming: "Mommy, mommy, who is that scary wannabe geisha with a wedding cake size head who looks like she's just landed with a cigar shaped tube from the Pleiades?" Saara wants to please Sharon and the creative team at the expense of her own credibility and give the impression she even liked the song which I find *impossible* to believe. *geishas traditionally have a beautiful hairdo so Saara's costumiere is the one who's gone completely bonkers. Nobody's ever seen a geisha with a giant lampshade hair like that. :/
Blinking tube is supposed to resemble the main gun on a tank. Notice the 2D tank behind it? But yeah wtf do not understand the mixture of Geisha and war machines lol
I didn't "get" the costume choice, or the canon/tank in there,.... The singing and dance movements were awesome but I was distracted by the outfit and wierd hair.
why not? the drama that got out of this, i don't really understand? i have a feeling people are just looking for something to get hairy about. i personally liked it.
She definitely can sing revealed from sing offs. I guess she targets to create a crazy image (may be 2nd lady gaga) which is different from what she has been doing in Finland. She has the ability but the execution of X-Factor cannot make it at this stage. Hope she can keep it going to final.
The moment I saw this I knew she'd be in the bottom again. Perhaps they want rid of her at this point, I don't know. The whole concept of "cultural appropriation" hasn't landed in Finland yet so she might not have understood how the Brits would see this one but the choreographer & the pc queen Sharon surely knew.
The BRITS are no longer a part of the international community. You brexited. Or did you? Just DO IT. I totally love it, Britain thinks that they can have their cake and eat it too. NOOOO.
Not so bad after watching this a second time but the song choice could have been better. Sing some Adele, or Paloma! But for the group theme, I think she could have done spice girls (who do you think you are), or sugababes (red dress, wait for you).
Every week we get a "RECYCLED" performance from Saara. From "Oh So Quiet" to "Bad Romance" to this. Some other contestants as well recycles performances from other seasons of X-Factors. Sucks.
Velimatti Ranta those songs were already sung better than other. Don't get me wrong ha, I love Saara. Sharon just need to give her better songs. aside from recycling those songs
Okay. She is a great singer but i don't think she needs to perform this like it's a huge thing (not that it isn't) but she's at the bottom at the moment so
This isn't anything against Saara, who probably didn't come up with the idea of dressing up as Japanese, but this performance is quite inappropriate in the way that it is inappropriate to dress up in African tribal wear and imitate another culture.
I love Saara's singing and ability to perform, but as a Finn, I dislike her personality. Back when she still performed in Finland, both my mother and I noticed that she has very cold eyes. She also seems to think she's above everyone else, and to be honest, what she keeps saying about Finland sounds like she despises her own people - basically, she acts very much like a bitchy diva. Oh, also... her reactions to judge comments in X Factor UK? I'm pretty certain she exaggerates almost all of it - to me, she just seems pretentious and artificial. PS. I have the same opinion of Tarja Turunen. Amazing singer, but a cold diva.
She is probably just a reflection of Finnish culture and upbringing. This girl may be different than us Brits but to me, she looks very likable and I don't feel anything wrong with her personality. She is an awesome singer and I really enjoy her performances. She is a great talent and she needs to be given an opportunity to grow beyond what she did in Finnland.
***** Well... one example of her personality? She keeps claiming that people in Finland never "accepted" her and that we're now beginning to "see that it's OK to be different". See, Jari Sillanpää is a Finnish singer who's always been extremely different - he's an outed gay, sings in literally every genre, puts on very lavish shows and practically everybody in Finland loves him. He even sold out an entire arena of 40,000 just last year. In fact, all of his concerts have sold out for 19 years in a row. Not to mention he's just as talented as Saara - when you can sing Bohemian Rhapsody perfectly, you kind of have to be. (Then again, he has an amazing personality that's basically like a fangirl/fanboy magnet.) It seems Saara doesn't quite realize it's her personality that turns Finnish people off. We accept her singing style and skills, it's just she needs to stop thinking she's more special than other people and blaming voters for her own losses. Satu Leppänen I prefer people who take their losses in stride, instead of blaming voters for never "accepting" them. It just means there's something about their performance that most of the voters didn't like - and if the person can't figure out what it is that turns people off, then they're not fit to be performers anyway. If I don't like someone's personality, it's simply my opinion. I do think she's a good singer, but I... just never honestly liked her attitude. She seems fake.
I actually met Saara just the other day and I can assure you, there's NOTHING cold or arrogant in her personality or behaviour. She's not a diva, actually far from it! As a Finn, I don't take it personally when she explains how she didn't get the support and she was encouraged to calm down and to sing in Finnish. That's what happened. It's the truth. Thank god, it's now starting to change! And Jari Sillanpää? Sorry, a good singer but he ain't that different.. sings same "iskelmä" as everyone else in Finland. He sings what finnish people are used to liking. In finland there's iskelmä, heavy metal and finnish pop. And now Saara :) Of course your opinion is yours and I respect that! This is just my opinion :)
Week after week she makes me think. Is that a way to go big? She has the voice, but the record bying public will never buy this.Would you? I think she has a hard time singing from true emotion. and, babies, true singers can . It separates a performer and a star. The voice is there but...always seems like a performance. Acted out. No story.
The Brits are devious. They put her into the bottom three so they can hear her sing twice a week. LOL.
I love this girl. Every performance is like a movie! Every week she changes roles and every week is so fresh!
If she'd sing underwater, her voice would still be heard. No environment can stop her 🙏🏾
SHE'S A PERFORMER, BITCHES!
Saara is the best always 😍
finally somebody who can sing !
Matt can sing, Five AM can sing, Sam Lavery can sing, Emily can sing
If you look on the RUclips channel of X factor she is the most popular worldwide. So I think it was smart to keep her in.
Fun girl with jolly face and sick voice! Absolutely love her!!!!!! Hope she wins.
Yippee! Saara is safe! I am so happy! Thanks all the people over the world who voted for Saara!
I Love Saraa With So Much Passion, But She Needs A Song Like Chandelier Cuz If She Doesn't, I Dont Think Shes Going To Win.
True. I believe she has limited choice of songs. For the last two weeks both songs not even in her range. Here is hoping. ;)
She always saves emotional songs for judges.. but maybe she should try one emotional song for the actual performances and just interpret it well. It's not like she has anything to lose.
Chandelier was her audition song
Wilmer Guzman don't agree
SHE IS UNIQUE! SHE DO THAT A AWFULL SONG CAN BE INCREDIBLE BECAUSE THE COSTUMES DANCERS AND ALL THE PERFORMANCE ARE AMAZING
Anthony Ying thank you for this!
I love her so much
i love all her performances

I dont know why they can put her sing-off three times. Now i know, because they want to hear she sing more and more. :)))...lol/
Jim Harrison haha ikr :D
YES. You got it. I am a producer for 30 years and this is how you create drama.

they painting weird illusion of saara - hahahha! xfactor is 90% acting competition 10% talent, but saara can handle it well - gj!
lol. I loved Scherzy's comment. A nice little dig, but she was right. Saara did more with that song than Girls Aloud did.
Saara is the best contestant ever.
I love her
She's really talented

Hey whats with that red flower chest jewellery? I've seen it lately in many British tv-shows. I mean in Emmerdale i noticed that almost everyone had The same chestpiece. In many episodes.
Is her head a chocolate fondue
Don't give Gaga any ideas.
come on now...she's a great vocalist, she doesn't need to resort to these absurdities, even lady gaga had to shed off her costumes just so her vocals can actually take the limelight..can you imagine adele doing this? and what's with the japanese theme?
really simon ddint you do the same thing with fuer
maybe it's because i'm unfamiliar with this song, and have thus never got a chance to 'get bored of it', or what other beef people seem to strongly have with it; but i really like it! i think this may have been her best show yet. beginning was butter
This is like a KISS concert.
totally agree with Simon
Staging was quite odd, but I liked the song!
Great voice, horrible, crappy coreography. Her great voice saved it, but the coreographer is clueless.
She needs to put her emotions she could sing and emotional song
there isnt just one emotion. she was emoting so much. people only think sad and pain is the only emotion
I didn't "get" the costume choice, or the canon/tank in there,.... The singing and dance movements were awesome but I was distracted by the outfit and wierd hair.
I've never heard this song before and it was sung very hauntingly. I liked it but I think she's being over the top.
"I don't know what you've got on your head"
This performance, oddly, is not growing on me. Simon was right. way too costumy and produced. yet, she sounds AMAZING. The voice is Dynamite!!!!
"I love nuts" 😂
4:15 - 4:29 😍😍
why the asian theme
why not? the drama that got out of this, i don't really understand? i have a feeling people are just looking for something to get hairy about. i personally liked it.
The sing off's made me cry...kudos saara!
i hate sharon! it feels like she is trying.to get rid.of saara.
She definitely can sing revealed from sing offs. I guess she targets to create a crazy image (may be 2nd lady gaga) which is different from what she has been doing in Finland. She has the ability but the execution of X-Factor cannot make it at this stage. Hope she can keep it going to final.
I think the production chooses all of her songs as well as the costumes and setting. She doesn't really have a say.

And this comment was in reference to what exactly...?
I don't think Sharon is a good mentor for her.
Not so bad after watching this a second time but the song choice could have been better. Sing some Adele, or Paloma! But for the group theme, I think she could have done spice girls (who do you think you are), or sugababes (red dress, wait for you).
i don't like the fact she is always ":0" about everything...like her response is always "haaaaa hows this possible, omg i don't know anything "

Can I get an Amen to that comment
bruh it's 2016 when are ppl going to realise that a race isn't a costume
hyi
Saara should had won. she is amazing. this is not the right song for her. she needed something more fun.
Okay. She is a great singer but i don't think she needs to perform this like it's a huge thing (not that it isn't) but she's at the bottom at the moment so
Ok, I see why she was in the bottom 2
aish! In the bottom again! -_-

Yeah, but she really had no say in what to sing or what to wear.
Japanese theme lol..
Hate this song. It didn't do anything good for Saara. Hope she isn't on the bottom two later.
Overproduced acts take away from her powerful voice.
poor song choice...
I hate the horrible costumes they put her in. So frustrating.
simon's getting annoying!
Nooo too much going on
Sorry Saara, 4th impact much more better than you.
what is 4th impact?
good choice, but it's boring
I love Saara's singing and ability to perform, but as a Finn, I dislike her personality.

horrible show, the worst
buena coreografia but not high notes, nothing special
your ears must be deep in your ass
yawn. just kick her off.
