Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser fein komponierten Bagatellen im gut phrasierten Tempo mit klarem Anschlag des Klaviers und angenehmer Dynamik. Echt unvergleichlicher Künstler!
Nosh, I'm not allowed to answer to your post :-(. I also like this set very much. And Schnabel is perfect here. Astonishing playing in the second piece.
Quite a putdown to refer to these delightful short pieces as fluff. Beethoven didn't write fluff. I thought the better description was that this is the closest to Mozart that Beethoven gave us.
@@lynnebair2092 OK, well, "fluff" is not far from "trifle" or "bagatelle." So in a sense Mari is correct. However, it's one thing for Beethoven to call it by such a term and it's another thing for someone else to do that. Mari calling the piece a bagatelle wouldn't be inappropriate, but calling it fluff is a bit insulting to the composer.

Beautiful !
Perfect !...🙌👍
Oh my God
An interesting assortment which seems worthwhile to audition, the most reminiscent of Mozart that Ludwig gave to us. Thanks a lot, motu.
"worthwhile to audition" morons have no limits .........
EVER SINCE I WAS A YOUNG BOY
I PLAYED THE SILVER BALL
"Tommy"" s diretor wanted mâke a Ludwig s film

You know that, as a child, he played for Brahms?
Schnabel is so much better than my grade 1 piano performance. Seriously, he makes something of these fluffy musical bits.
I don't think you need to tell us Schnabel was better than your grade 1 performance...

I completely agree.
This 'fluff' also rather contradicts the notion that LvB was a mediocre melodist.
@@lynnebair2092 this has absolutely nothing to do with Mozart !!
