+Ernest Chui™ (ernestcmh) yeah, too bad that his face is funny... and after he shown his face in movie I couln't take it and laugh as hell. And his acting it was so strange, like his 15 years boy, doesn't know what he want and who is he...Not scaring at all.
+Vectar84 His behaviour just shows his unsure and fragile nature, that he indeed is young and have an inner conflict about who he is. And I personally think his "funny" face is great in that it isn't the typical macho badass brawny look.
A lot of people are complaining about Ren being a whiney emo, but the whole point of his character is that he's raw and not developed, and somewhat immature. He is not sure of himself and is constantly battling with every decision he makes, and THAT is where he is dangerous, because he's unstable. Adam Driver did a good job portraying that and it'll be cool to watch this character develop.
+00Mindi00 Yes. That's exactly it. The character of Ren is wrestling with himself. Rey read him correctly. He's afraid he won't be as good as Vader. He IS unstable and that's what makes him so dangerous.
Go back and see the film a few times folks. I';ve seen it twice now and my perception of many details, including Kylo Ren's character are changing - in a good way. Immerse yourselves in the story, and you'll just see things making a lot more sense. We cannot compare Ren to previous Star Wars villains. This is new, and something we've got to treat as fresh. We're still learning who he is. I think an ultimate showdown will happen between Kylo and Rey by EP IX, and it'll be very emotion-filled, just like it was in EPVII, which imo was PERFECT. NO flashy fights - just simple, RAW, both characters having no idea how to handle themselves properly, and we got excited in their journey with no idea what's ahead. That's how it should be.
I love the dark side maybe because I love to dress in black. When I was a teen I used to dress all in black including sheets and towels (as well as underwear). When I got married (20 years ago) my husband believed it was creepy so I had to add more color.☹
I see Kylo Ren as a character that has most potential to grow. Not sure if for better or for worst, but he definitely got something big coming his way. All those people complaining about how he's not vicious or menacing are not seeing the big picture. Note that he's basically just a kid and Snoke must've tricked him into thinking that he's high and mighty while he's just a young man going through some transitions. Hence, (spoiler) beat him in a saber fight. His powers are great, but not his mentality and skills. I was critical when they casted Adam Driver as Ren, but after seeing his performance, I was wrong. He's great for the role. Ren is a future project. It will be interesting to see what happens later. Don't rush it, people. Good things take time to grow.
I wish the writers had taken the same approach with Rey. She is a rookie with potential, but still a rookie. It's way too early to show her suddenly using the Force like a jedi master.
You will see come the next episode. She shares a force bond with Kylo! She got the powers from him when she entered his mind just as when he entered hers! Its so interesting!
Adam like the great great Actors just did these little things that u can tell the director didn't tell him to do. He can pull expressions in a scene that you forget the guy is acting. I was truly impressed n I agree his charater is by far the most interesting in the film, n I think altho some people will never forgive him for killing Han, some people may even be able to identify with him... thankfully I don't.
YAAAAS THANK YOU!! I was thinking the exact same thing he has this aura about him that is perfect for a person that is seen as bad but is good for the most part.
+CameronM1138 Snape was supposed to be young. Not that I didn't love Alan Rickman, because he's amazing. But in reality, Alan was older in the first film than the character was when he died in book 7. Harry's parents were 21 when they died, which would have put Snape in his early 30s in the first film/book and 38 when he died.
I was taken away by Kylo Ren. I was sceptical because I avoided most of the teasers so when I went to see it today it wad the first time I saw Adam Driver as Ren. Just, wow, it was such a surprise. I think it's right that we see him as unstable and emotionally unstable at that. This is a time when he doesn't have an apprentice and the sixth have been dead for some time now, it's no wonder he is at war with himself over every decision. Also, the 'tantrums' with his lightsaber also worked really well so that you realise just how young he actually is. Force Awakens, in my opinion, was how the prequels should have been. A little of the old for nostalgia, but allowing room for a new generation.
Ikr. I didn't look into his character at all mainly because I thought he would be a Darth Vader copy, but I was delighted by a deep and original antagonist. The movie was so amazing :D
Leia is the offspring of anakin and Padmes Ewok sister, if you watched revenge of the with, obi wan says to Padme, "he's not the father, is he?" And she nods yes. This implies that anakin was swapped with count dookus uncle, Jabba the Hutt. But Jabba was merely a cover up for the baby. It was really jabbas alcoholic brother Tim the Hutt who is Luke's true dad
And that TIm the Hutt .. he's a nasty piece of work! We won't even mention Padme's affair with BaBa Jinks, the distant cousin of our friend Jaja. This is beginning to sound like a Dr Phil show!
Adam always seems so engaged in interviews. Some people don't really care or want to be there but he always seems to really care about everything they say
it's funny cause i saw the force awakens in german (cause i live in austria) and kylo rens voice without his mask is sooooo boy-ish like very soft and young :D but his real voice is so...different!
He was a fantastic villain and I really love the aggressive dueling style he has with that damn lightsabre that everybody used to think looked ridiculous. He is a very dominant villain and I'm SO glad that they'd really slowed down the duels and they're not doing all that high-speed dueling crap like in the prequels. It looked good yes but it served no other purpose.
My favorite thing about Kylo (Adam) is how he actually removed his mask a couple of times in the movie. I don''t really know why but it really makes you feel that there is a person there now and not just a monster like in episode 4,5,6. Or at least until the very end of 6.
Where the Hell did this guy come from???? You don't associate star wars with Oscars but Adam Drivers performance was... well I havnt really got a word... he was Perfect for the role and unbelievably believable.
Kylo Ren without a doubt is my fav Star Wars Villain after Darth Vader/Maul, just the portrayal of his character by Driver was amazing, he was determined, ruthless and his desperation showed how hungry Ren was in achieving his goals, the arrogance/cockiness of his pwoer yet he displayed the emotional anguish at his mistakes like if things werent going to plan (taking out his saber having a tantrum) it was like a genuine reaction of his personality - not many villains show that in star wars loved it!
+darkestification I remember seeing rots at the midnight showing. People were groaning at how bad the dialog was when anakin and pad me were saying how much they loved each other.
yeah i remember going to see episode 3 at a midnight showing. at the part where anakin and padme were saying that they loved each other, i heard people laughing and saying "oh god".
His voice is so intimidating and calming at the same time. I was very sceptical when they casted him as Kylo Ren until I saw it, he was amazing.. people dont give him enough credit. Adam was right kylo is just reckless, and naive but I think he will transform into an badass villain.
Menibor1 Last week i went to the theaters and,,,,, watch it again lol its just so amusing and yes i have watched it 3 times and paid for three times. Wait until the Bluray is out...
I love kylo ren as he is raw and emotional yet being told to not be he idolises Darth Vader as its the only family member that he doesn't really know and feels drawn to that
In every interview, they are asked some variation of, "What advice did you get from the original cast?" and, they all always answer the same way, "Uh, none! They didn't pretend to know what we should expect with our own personal experiences." You'd think, eventually, that people would stop asking them stupid questions like that, or stop asking questions they've answered already SO MANY times! In seemingly EVERY interview, Adam is asked some version of the same question; "What's it like to play the bad guy in a Star Wars film?" And, EVERY time, he responds with some variation of the same answer; "Well, I really don't think Kylo Ren sees himself as, "the bad guy." Are evil people evil for evil's sake? Or, do they believe they are the good guy?" The interviewers should start doing a little homework before hand. To at least somewhat mitigate their redundancy! It renders most of these little cast interviews unwatchable. To me, anyway. I don't know, maybe some people like watching the SAME interview over and over again.
My son really looks like Kylo Ren. He has the same hair length and all. He will be Kylo Ren for Holloween. This is his 2nd time as Kylo Ren. He got all the wows last year. He even was asked to take a photo with a child (he was conviced that my son was actually Kylo Ren). My son is now 19.
His voice is absolutely overwhelming.

Ninjacatprincess I'm actually quite excited to see them both develop into real powers and then clash as they each grow. It's going to be a good story.
+00Mindi00 oh yeah..their rivalry is gonna be good! looks like they are cousins who ended up as opposite sides of the force!
Go back and see the film a few times folks. I';ve seen it twice now and my perception of many details, including Kylo Ren's character are changing - in a good way.

+colinrivera1 uhhh no he's not
His voice is deeper than my soul.
It is so sexy holyyy
Me watching star wars
"I hate kylo"
*takes off mask*
"some people just make mistakes"
+Stephanie Norberto haha awesome that is what I thought as well :D
Good looks can be a powerful weapon.
I love the dark side maybe because I love to dress in black. When I was a teen I used to dress all in black including sheets and towels (as well as underwear). When I got married (20 years ago) my husband believed it was creepy so I had to add more color.☹
Adam Driver is awesome
+Marcus Worsham He nailed his role.
+Jeron Cradle He indeed did!
clank Good film or nah??? p.s no spoilers
Scream Phoenix Today i'm gonna watch it a third time. and on Monday a fourth time. So yeah it's pretty good. Go watch it :p
Scream Phoenix no.
I see Kylo Ren as a character that has most potential to grow. Not sure if for better or for worst, but he definitely got something big coming his way.

+Luiz Antonio +Wait for the other 2 movies before judging the writers decisions.
You will see come the next episode. She shares a force bond with Kylo! She got the powers from him when she entered his mind just as when he entered hers! Its so interesting!
Yamin Thein Kylo Ren is age 30 as he was conceived after the battle of Endor
Adam like the great great Actors just did these little things that u can tell the director didn't tell him to do. He can pull expressions in a scene that you forget the guy is acting. I was truly impressed n I agree his charater is by far the most interesting in the film, n I think altho some people will never forgive him for killing Han, some people may even be able to identify with him... thankfully I don't.
Adam Driver is the beacon of quality for his generation of actors. He's absolutely amazing. I'm so glad we have him.
I feel like Adam could read the dictionary and make it interesting
I would pay just to listen to that.
lol agreed
If they ever make Harry Potter prequel movies he would be a perfect young Snape.
Oh my god you're right!!
YAAAAS THANK YOU!! I was thinking the exact same thing he has this aura about him that is perfect for a person that is seen as bad but is good for the most part.
+CameronM1138 You are bloody GENIUS!!!!!! Best Idea Award goes to YOU
+CameronM1138 Snape was supposed to be young. Not that I didn't love Alan Rickman, because he's amazing. +CameronM1138 HAHAHA Agreed! I've always been thinking his face is like Snape.
Holy shit his voice sounds the same as in the movie.. o_o
+BOBBYS BOYS, I thought they must have edited his voice to be deeper, turns out it's his real voice. It's a fair comment!
I was saying girass' comment was reasonable.
yeah whilst darth vader had two actors, one exclusevely for the voice
Romulo De Sousa He actually has a Scottish accent!
+Endurance
I didn't really want to sound mean.
I'm just saying it's pretty obvious.
I went in expecting to not really give a crap about kylo. but adams performance and the character himself now have me wanting a kylo ren spinoff film.
Adam Driver could run me over with a bus and I wouldn't mind tbh. I like him a lot, I think he's a great actor.
He is one of those great actors that don't act they perform.
That would be called getting "Paterson'd". :)
I was taken away by Kylo Ren. I was sceptical because I avoided most of the teasers so when I went to see it today it wad the first time I saw Adam Driver as Ren. Just, wow, it was such a surprise. Ikr. I didn't look into his character at all mainly because I thought he would be a Darth Vader copy, but I was delighted by a deep and original antagonist. The movie was so amazing :D
I watched it today and it was really good
+Gin no.. Don't spoil
Ren skinned chewie and finds out its dooku in a costume
+Utopia Darq Right! And the fact that Leia is NOT really the twin girl but was switched with an Ewok baby ... awesome!!
Leia is the offspring of anakin and Padmes Ewok sister, if you watched revenge of the with, obi wan says to Padme, "he's not the father, is he?" And she nods yes. I literally am just watching all of his interviews bc I'm basically in love w him
Adam always seems so engaged in interviews. Some people don't really care or want to be there but he always seems to really care about everything they say
Mario Lopez looks like he is in love.
i already watch two times since yesterday. i think i need to watch it again.
+Raja Shah Hanis Raja Shah lololollol!
+Ninjacatprincess today will be my 6th time

I think Adam Driver will be a kickass villain :D
+totterdell He sure looks like he will be :)
+Film Cinematic trust me Ive just seen it and he is...
+Jameelion Yes I saw it as well! He was pretty crazy, but he'll get even better in the next films.
+Jameelion I can back that up. He truly is!
Oh yeah Hell get even more badass no doubt!
he was perfect for the new Vader character
it's funny cause i saw the force awakens in german (cause i live in austria) and kylo rens voice without his mask is sooooo boy-ish like very soft and young :D but his real voice is so...different!
German? Wie war's so? XD

+Victor Ferger seeeeehr episch :D würd ihn mir zu gerne nochmal ansehen!
somebody cares Englisch ist trotzdem wahrscheinlich um weiten besser... :(
+somebody cares wait, you guys watch dubbed movies in the cinema? can you choose to see the original, or is it always dubbed?
Wow! is that how his voice really sound like?
So deep
What a great interview!
He was a fantastic villain and I really love the aggressive dueling style he has with that damn lightsabre that everybody used to think looked ridiculous. Can't wait to see him as Kylo Ren!!
His voice (especially in the mask) is SOOO menacing. I personally like seeing his face, I just hope he keeps his mask and speaks in it again.
Little known fact: Adam Driver was a US Marine infantryman before acting
I saw TFA three times, I cried Every. Single. Time. I cried a lot round three.
Wooow his voice, so strong and deep, I can hardly bear it.
Adam nailed it
Snape of Star Wars
That's kinda what my sister and I said too.
Kylo Ren without a doubt is my fav Star Wars Villain after Darth Vader/Maul, just the portrayal of his character by Driver was amazing, he was determined, ruthless and his desperation showed how hungry Ren was in achieving his goals, the arrogance/cockiness of his pwoer yet he displayed the emotional anguish at his mistakes like if things werent going to plan (taking out his saber having a tantrum) it was like a genuine reaction of his personality - not many villains show that in star wars loved it!
he's amazing in the movie. so excited to see episode 8and how he evolves.
I love him! They found the perfect actor for this role!
Kylo Ren is the best SW villain since Vader. Ren's potential as a character with both the dark and the light side is enormous!
I LOVE HIS VOICE AND HIS HAIR SO MUCH
I feel like everybody either thinks he's the hottest thing to ever grace the planet and the other half thinks he isn't anywhere close...
Driver is awesome in Kylo Ren role!
You wanna talk whiny, watch episodes 2 and 3. Anakin was pathetic for the most part
He wasn't all that whiny he just likes to destroy some computer shit when he gets mad
+darkestification I remember seeing rots at the midnight showing. People were groaning at how bad the dialog was when anakin and pad me were saying how much they loved each other.
yeah i remember going to see episode 3 at a midnight showing. at the part where anakin and padme were saying that they loved each other, i heard people laughing and saying "oh god".
episode 3 anakin was better he just didn't want to his wife to die
best new character in the force awakens - adam driver = brilliant
I really like him. He was so bad and handsome without or with the mask.I really like this movie and him too
His voice is so intimidating and calming at the same time. I was very sceptical when they casted him as Kylo Ren until I saw it, he was amazing.. people dont give him enough credit. Adam was right kylo is just reckless, and naive but I think he will transform into an badass villain.
Seen the movie 3 times so far.. It's really really good
Including today ive seen it twice..... may the force be with you
You paid three times to watch that movie in the theaters ?
Menibor1 Last week i went to the theaters and,,,,, watch it again lol its just so amusing and yes i have watched it 3 times and paid for three times. Wait until the Bluray is out...
I love Adam Driver who plays Kylo Ren in episode 7 and episode 9 of Star Wars
Adam is so precious.
He is more Matt than Kylo Ren to me
I love kylo ren as he is raw and emotional yet being told to not be he idolises Darth Vader as its the only family member that he doesn't really know and feels drawn to that
As far as Kylo Ren goes, having some mystery surround his character makes him all the more interesting. So he's not boring at all to watch.
if i could describe kylo ren in one word: badass
I just love his voice
I'm in love with him ❤

To me, anyway.
I don't know, maybe some people like watching the SAME interview over and over again.
so the last movie with him was 4 years ago. four years. i’m just letting that sit in.
He was awesome.
Yeah, I was in Saved by the Bell, man. Look at me now.
For the record when they revealed Kylo Ren's Lightsaber I didn't freak out.
He was my favorite character from the new movie.
Damn his voice lol its awesome!
It. Was. So. Good.
I'm afraid it's gonna happen the same that happened with Loki in the case of Kylo ahahaha Always feeling connected to the bad guys
ADAMS DRIVER 😍😍🎉🎄
0:14 marios face XD priceless
He's so awesome
"I will finish, What you started"
Adam driver could be David schwimmer brother (Ross) from friends
+Justin Ruiz ...with a hint of Michael Wincott
when i first heard kylo rens voice in the mask, i really liked it, then he took off his mask and sounded the same i was like WTF
I just realized the interviewer is AC Slater
You can feel the testosterone in the airwaves!
I'd do anything to get a voice like him....only time will tell how my voice will be like.
His voice seeps into my soul. That's so weird.
I thought that his voice was edited when i watched this vid!
hello interviewer guy looks like I'll have to trade lives with you
He looks 18 in Star Wars . But he's 33 and looks late 30's in this vid
I wonder... is Kylo supposed to be younger than he is? I can't figure out what Kylo's age is since Star Wars nerd wikis use space calendars
He is so great
His voice is so deep and nice except sometimes he sounds like he's about to cry
My son really looks like Kylo Ren. He has the same hair length and all. He will be Kylo Ren for Holloween. This is his 2nd time as Kylo Ren. He got all the wows last year. He even was asked to take a photo with a child (he was conviced that my son was actually Kylo Ren). My son is now 19.
Severus..... I thought you loved Lily.... why would you turn into the potions master....
Turn To Page 394.....
Ugh, these comments. So many people excited at a new Star Wars movie. Now that the trilogy is over, based on current fan reaction, it was just “ok”.
HE LIKES THE BAD GUYS IN REAL LIFE TOO? I LOVE HIM EVEN MORE
I feel the same way!
dat sound tho 😍😍
Mira baby okay baby It's okay you did so great in the movie
A very good actor for kylo ren
Simply voice,like with mask:)
Damn he's so damn hot 😭
Why is he so hot omg
Mmmmmmm Adam Driver. You sexy human being.
This guy is a bad ass.
kylo Ren is my favorite Star Wars character
Yep he is definitely a sith
Wow that voice....
Adams voice sounds diffrent
Tbh I like the dark side interesting 😏 I love it! And plus Adam did a REALLY REALLY REALLY good job on his role! OMG he's just so amazing and hot 😍😍😍😍
Oh crap why did I add in interesting 😳
I am not surprised that Driver is feeling incomfortable in this interview. That interviewer acts like he could do him anytime.
It's not too often that an actor interviews another actor. Mario Lopez was on Saved by the Bell when Driver was just a kid. Mario just radiates SECKS
Cool lightsaber he wields
Kylo is awesome!
