It's amazing how much 2 people can get done if you keep things moving slow and steady. It really pays to prep the logs. Costly if you don't. Grandpa as always likes your style and work ethic of the whole crew.
I'm always impressed with the quality of lumber that you all provide to your customers. I wish I could find a small custom sawmill operation close to me here. I have managed to find a mill here, but they don't do custom sawing. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
Hi Mark and ZZ and Eddie and Pete plus of course Mr Laser and good old Chewy, found you by accident in January when I was diagnosed with colon cancer and your site has kept me going over the last 7 months it is so relaxing and informative and I cannot see enough of the logs being sawed. I deal with a company in Shippensberg called the BEISTLE company and have distributed their products to UK and Europe for over 30 years and my company is called 360 degrees based in south of England and I have passed on your site to a lot of people over here in England. I did email to you last week with a picture of my 350 year old ugly oak tree which Eddie would love to cut down? Anyway thank you to all of you for getting me through my chemotherapy and treatment which fingers crossed has gone pretty good! You are the best form of therepy and will be watching you for a long time to come! Word of the day is HOPE cheers talk again soon Stewart Atkins aged 77 and 3/4

"I hear the train a comin, it's rolling around the bend." It sure is a good thing that you and Eddie get along so well after all these years. You guys are always interesting to watch. I sure wish that I could help.
Good day from Grafton WI just finished milling about 2000 bd ft of pine, ash, basswood, black walnut. Lots of 2x material for building pole buildings!! Love being a Sawyer! Thanks to you for all of you videos lots to learn and lots to read!
This wild west mill is a whole other cookie... The motors and hydraulic pumps are on the carriage. More mass to move, but no hoses flexing overhead. Your mills nicer.
Big thanks to Mark and Eddie. Our channel is just a couple away from 250 subs and and huge part is because these 2 wonderful guys They have an amazing RUclips channel and I hope it keeps growing ThankYou Again Mark and Eddie

Mark, you mentioned if the camera was right. ?? Do you have, or need marks😅 on the knob in the cab for reference? That you use with your hi-tech rubber band system, to rotate the camera.🎥 😊. Always enjoy your videos. Say hello to Eddy.
Yeah that ol Frick mill makes you earn your keep! You may lose a finger or two a leg and a arm, but you can always say you put in a honest days work fork an honest day's pay!
Hi Mark. Beautiful red oak slats. 🥰🙂😉👍Well. I realized. You aren't pallet wood sawmill years ago. You " only" do this pallet company's orders. They're " happy" with your sawmill. Ed mentioned on his video." Pallet slats are his favorite." One pallet company is enough. Say Hi to Ed, ZZ, & Hank. 🥰🙂😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌳
Eddie: "The nice people showed up from quite a distance"....then there was the more local irate rabble who showed up with pitchforks, torches, molten tar & feathers to greet us, the usual mob suspects. We generally attend these shows in a suit of armor.
I miss the smell of cutting lumber especially pondo pine, and radiata pine 😢 Have you ever used diesel to lube your saws? The kimwood Ferrari I ran did and it worked well
I definitely would have been yelling at you. I didn't come to the steam show because it was too far. I would have been driving over 8 hours for the day. Bill
Hi Mark, just curious, barring any unforeseen accidents how long between re-grinding the teeth? I use carbide on my saw in my shop and have them re-sharpened about every six months. Of course I don’t saw as much as you do. Say hello to Eddy for me. From East Tennessee.
I've watched you struggle to move the log forward and backward on the carriage, I think if you modified chewy so that you could tip it sideways, you could move the log endways as you turned it

Is the reason you can cut this half-inch stock because you can charge for each board just as though they were one inch thick?
