A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker crew assigned to the 909th Air Refueling Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Japan, refuels a U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer assigned to the 28th Bomb Wing, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, over the Pacific Ocean, June 21, 2024. The Air Force says: "Bomber missions contribute to joint force lethality and deter aggression in the Indo-Pacific by demonstrating the U.S. Air Force’s ability to operate anywhere in the world at any time in support of the National Defense Strategy." What was the line extending from the boom in several shots in the video? Maybe a line on the lens of the camera?

I believe that is a snubber cable to keep the boom from getting too far out of alignment... maybe a boomer can tell us...
