I actually really liked this show. Saw it the week before opening in previews, and loved every moment.
He has been hired on a new TV show called Penny Dreadful. It will be on Showtime in 2014. So Reeve is in Europe for 6 months on the set of this show.

There's nobody who has the amazing performance art skills of Reeve Carney.
I would have thought that major record labels would be offering him incredible sums
of money to form a band, which would be a major success teaming with the right
songwriters. Add to all of this, he's one of the most likable people on Earth.
He has a band (or had?) with his brother called Carney
I was there for his last 3 shows, he made me cry so much at the end. I met Justin, he's a great guy, so kind. I'm sure he will be an amazing Peter/Spidey and I hope I'll see him perform one day, but Reeve will always be the number one for me.
I'd like to meet the Spidey holding the V at 1:56. Nice, long tongue. A hot looking guy, in skintight Lycra, with a very talented tongue. Don't get better than that!

Hung from the rafters for 3 yrs watching him descend headfirst for the famous upside down kiss with MJ. He ran a marathon to make it up to be wired and flipped. 8 shows a week. Skinny kid Reeve was ripped by his last day. His wire work in Bouncing off the Walls was like a 3 hr aerobics class! :D #ENRGYZRBunny

It has to be a little padded because he transforms after the spider bite. And also to prevent any easy bruising

I am lucky to have watched 5 times Spidey on Bway with this amazing and perfect man! I love this musical and i love you Reeve Carney.

$300 seems an awful lot for a fairly averge looking and almost universally panned show. I;n sure its exciting for kids but its trying to hard to outdo shows like The lion King which I have seen twice and its oth visually stunning restrained...
The show was not "almost universally panned". It was nominated for two Tony's, and it ran for almost four years. They went through hell and back to get this on stage.

I'll be honest with you Joe, $3 is to much for the show. It doesn't matter how awesome the set pieces are if its a terrible story, executed poorly & this was.

An if "going through hell" was a basis by which we determine merit, this would be the greatest show on Earth.... But it isn't. An yes, this show was rightly universally panned by anyone with an ounce of recognition for writing talent, or even the slightest love for the Spider-man franchise.
If this were a movie, its what those in the industry call a loaf: A loaf being a movie where the filming starts before the script is finalised & so we get a mix match of stuff the writers wrote later having to fit in with the stuff already filmed, because the stuff already filmed costs a lot of money.... That's Spiderman Turn off the dark in a nutshell.
The "you are one of the best person I have ever worked with" crap in a speech at the end is so generic. Has anyone leaving a show ever not had this speech. It is nothing more than expected tradition and the thank you's mean nothing.

He was real skinny when he started wire training in 2010. Around the time he did most of his videos. I balled like a baby at this last show. Not sure I even got a piece of cake. But by Sept 2013 Dude was "ripped". He's always had muscular arms from playing piano and guitar in his band Carney before he got Spiderman or was in Taylor Swift videos! That still cracks me up! #ENRGYZRBunny
