Ohhh Guy I had that happen to me. They call it hysterical blindness!!! I remember the vision was so scary. Mental health is very important!! It will come out physically!! @@KaraConnolly I was so happy when I saw this and thought yes!!! This was a great show!! I learned a lot!! Yes, unfortunately it happened after my mom passed away! A lot of weird things happened! I was so very lucky I had my Dad! He knows me so well!! Plus again I had your (Kara’s) mom & your dad so I was so ok!! Cannot wait for more!♥️😂🥰 shows

Guy, I really enjoyed the conversational aspect of your show today, And it was nice that you had such a talented and interesting guest on your show, because you both were able to bring out the hidden talents and thoughts and feelings around your lives, not just about your jobs - through conversation.
I had already heard about your hair styling talent, but I had no idea that you had so many others. It was very, very, very interesting.- and held my interest throughout your show, even though I have no knowledge of the hairstyling industry - The breadth of your discussion and all of the information that you and Kara were able to draw out of each other about, not on your jobs, but your hopes and dreams and wishes and other talents was riveting. Wow, your generation throws a bunch of mental health head trips on each other. Attributing mental health to hair color where, not, not connected, a bit severe in passing judgment. As a retired stylist with Glemby International in the early 70s we were breaking ground on contemporary hairstyling that really set the stage for now. But yeah, we all were specialists then, and especially for colorists as it WAS a science. Much more technically oriented where cutting leaned towards the creative and perming was an adjunct to all of it. I'm just so disappointed to see the sloppy lazy stuff that's being turned out and in particular the improper use of the curling iron resulting in the proverbial "unfinished" curl that in my opinion, looks like hair caught in a rain shower. Lol in my day that would have given the client a refund on their well spent money, but I digress. So much nowadays is mediocre and a rip-off, and your going to see it right down to the construction of your homes. Cutting corners doesn't cut it anywhere especially when someone is spending close to a weeks salary to get their hair done. But Guy, I love watching your videos that I discovered when the balayage got started. Omg over the top phenomenal, especially on hair lengths finished off with a perfect vertical cut and style, one I did while training in London on a head of waist length hair finished by curling 1" square sections with a curling iron, yes complete finished curls. Kills me that we didn't bother with much photography back then. Oh and I've been a red head myself off and on, mostly on, through henna that started with the Rene Furterer studios that back then were in Bergdorf Goodman department stores. Wow just Googled it and it's still going strong, AND, I still have some of the product, refrigerated, from the 70s and it's still good. The picture on my profile is 15 years old but yeah that's my hair as healthy if not healthier than when I was in high school. I was born in 53. Hair care in the 60s was dismal. I was well trained by the Chadwicks and also a week with Roger Thompson with Vidal Sassoon in Toronto. Oh well thanks for tolerating my trip back to my roots in styling, no pun intended. Keep up the good work. I love what your doing.
