Scott Lang Tribute

The La Roche community mourns the loss of our respected and accomplished men's basketball coach Scott Lang, who died suddenly on Friday,Dec. 10, 2010 after collapsing during practice.
Coach Lang, 41, was in his 18th year at La Roche and his 14th as head basketball coach. His La Roche teams are two-time recipients of the Schoenfeld Sportsmanship Award, most recently this year. The award is voted on by the Collegiate Basketball Officials Association and presented annually to a school in the NCAA Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
