In this video we have discussed with a young educated Farmer. Who has done fish farming. interesting fact is that he has done this farming in less area with high quantity . He has adopted the techniques of bio flock concept but he has not used any bio flock instrument accept aeration motor. In very small area he cultured around twenty five thousand of cat breed fish and around two thousand of sweet water prawn. 1600 ft^2 area is about 149m2. The singhi stocking density turns out to be 166/m^2 and that for freshwater prawns about 20/m^2. Nowhere on earth can someone stock freshwater prawns at this density in a pond, even with substrates. The results will be disastrous. Even at densities below 5/m^2 one needs substrates for better survival. The numbers are quite misleading. I won't comment on the water quality front (especially dissolved oxygen and ammonia), that's another important factor.
