8:29 I had to watch this transition so many times to wrap my mind around it. She barely moved yet she made the character change from her to the man so obvious. _How?_
The movements are very jerky, if it is made more smooth movements and softer movements then it will be a delight to watch because of the perfection being maintained plus the perfect dance figure this dancer has. I don't like these stiff jerky movements, but she has lot of fans who love her style.
Many movements of Bharathanatyam dancers of modern times involve jumps, lifting legs like ballet dancers, and other movements that I have not seen in old-time dancers. Students of Sri Padma Subramanyam and other Bharathanatyam dancers of modern times have such characteristics. I think the jerky movements are also part of the modern developments.
Uma Viswanathan She seems to persistently have a problem with her natyarambam. Her right arm is practically always closed not the same as the left arm it is a pity because natyarambam means the beginning of dance. And it is strange for an accomplished dancer not to correct this mistake after watching her own videos which I am sure she does... Moreover dancers are often’ now learning the karanas on one side and keeping their own Bharata Natyam style which is not the graceful vazhuvoor more adoptâted to the introduction of karanas in the choreography.
@@blissfulflow I think it's some sort of an inherent defect. As a dancer with a defect in my right hand too (can't fold it into pataka), I don't think much can be done about it.
Because of her Impressive personality and Perfect steps , her dances become most Enjoyable !

Jamás me cansaré de verla, es perfecta en sí misma. Aparte del amor que da a través de su arte. Your perúvian southamerica students love her so much.
