Kunoichi (female ninjas/shinobis) are trained to sacrifice their lives for the mission. So all of Uzui's wives have been raised thinking that if the situation calls for it, they should die for the mission. That's why they were very surprised and unsure when Uzui told them to prioritize their lives before any mission.
So on fake rainbow. The manga actually clearly explains what it does, but they had to cut it from the anime to make it flow better. It’s pretty much a technique that focuses all of the users strength into their legs to let them preform what is basically a flash step that leaves behind an after image. The better the enemies perception, the clearer the afterimage is, so it actually turns a demons heightened senses against them

What Makio meant in her mind was that because they were shinobi they were trained to prioritize mission over their own lives. But Tengen allowed them to prioritize life and even came to save them which is not like a shinobi in general
Uzui's wives are basically a reflection of the main trio:
Hinatsuru: female Tanjiro/Nezuko mix
Suma: female Inosuke with Zenitsu's personality
Makio: female Zenitsu with Inosuke's personality
Fyi they were all trained as Kunoichis (female ninjas) and he were basically forced to marry him, but the important fact is that despite being raised as a assassins, he has never mistreated them or forced them to do anything, which is common in that lifestyle. He treated them kindly and fully respected them and gave them the freedom and choice to live as they want. In return they love him for that and decided to stay with him and help him.
yeh it's a author note or mention they are designed to look similiar to our three but the personalities fo two are switched

They were all child soldiers who were forced into a breeding program at 15.
It is a good thing they all escaped that hellhole.
I think all 4 of them earn the credit for leaving.
Especially uzui and hinatsuru they seem as the rational well thought members of that family.

In case you forgot, Sound Breathing is derived from Thunder Breathing, which is why Zenitsu and Uzi both have superhuman hearing, and his Sound Breathing Technique also sounds like thunder.

Snake and Insect Breathing are derived from Water
Mist and I think Beast Breathing is sorta derived from Wind
Love is derived from Flame

Does zenitsu thunder breathing have to do with his sense of hearing or was he just born with it like tanjiro?
I'm pretty sure they are born with that superhuman hearing, so while is not something that they have because of their breathing, it could be a characteristic that makes them more suited for this type of breathing.

med student here. at 100 degrees he's definitely not feeling great LOL. Probably feels like he's running a bad fever Brain damage probably won't happen until higher temps... but i don't want to do anything at 100 degree fever much less fight a upper ranked demon

@@Oriamoxy i believe they did. In celcius is 37.7, which is nothing. i mean, above 37 is fever but a really small one. At least for me. I once reached 42, thought i was going to die :v but i´ve known people that with 37.2 they where bedridden

Sound Breathing (Deviation) is an offshoot of Thunder Breathing (Main). Fundamentally, Zenitsu n Tengen Uzui are like from the same family, but under different category. That’s why u can see similarities on them, yet varies at the same time. Common things are like they are very sensitive to sounds, having exceptional good hearing sense, speed in terms of movements are their forte as well. Their dexterity, agility, speed n mobility are high.
I don't know. Whenever I see Inosuke slithering through that tunnel, I can't stop laughing, at the same time, if I try investing myself into the story, which I usually do so I can get behind the character's feelings, I'm close to a panic attack. I can't help it, tight spaces freak me out, I feel like I can't breath just imagining it.
Suma crying in Zenitsu with Inosuke's face is just killing me every time.

Just so you know Tengen is the fastest among all the hashiras.
He's only the fastest in terms of running speed, it was stated that Mitsuri had faster attack and combat speed than him.

Yup, and Shinobu is the fastest of the hashiras in terms of attacking speed.
There are actually some people in sports who say they play better when they have a fever. Not full blown sick but running warmer
Sound breathing is an offshoot of Thunder breathing...... that's why Tengen has good hearing like Zenitsu and also incredibly fast running speed...... the sound comes about because Tengen uses sound vibrations to get a picture of his environment...... like Inosuke's spacial awareness but different.
What about Gyomei? He has good hearing too

Actually that scene was a relief for tengen, his mission started searching for demons in the district but then with how things have gone his goal changed to save his wives, in this episode he found them all safe, so it does give a little of his character as a husband from the wives point of view

Wind, thunder, earth, water, fire are the 5 fundamental breathing styles means the first 5 derived from sun
And all other breathing style derive from these
Thunder -sound
Wind -mist, beast
Water - serpent, flower - and insect from flower
Earth - none known
Fire - love
There were derivatives bcoz of when someone teach someone a breathing style they can't master it properly they change it in a way they are the most compatible making them stronger than learning the other.

FYI, Thunder Breathing got 6 forms. Unfortunately, Zenitsu only able to perform/use 1st form (Thunder Clap & Flash). Sixfold is under the form, not considered a new form.

Beast Breathing is classified as an offshoot of Wind Breathing. I think it implies the demon slayer who explained the breathing styles to him was a Wind Breather.
