When I first get my candles I can’t really smell them but after letting them set for a day they smell amazing and even better when lit. I actually prefer GC at the moment over bbw and I have about 250 candles from bbw.
I actually just filmed another video about goosecreek just today and I agree!! On cold they don't smell strong but once you burn them they absolutely fill up the room
@@VeryEry yes GC is hard to judge while cold (as well as other candle brands) but when you light 🕯️ them they really smell nice! Just recently became a fan of GC ! I recently burned Waffles & Ice Cream & it had only been burning 3-5mins , I walked upstairs , left it downstairs burning on the Mantle and within those few minutes it wafted upstairs... I live in fairly big house, I was quite impressed 👍 TFS
The blisters are because their large jars are paraffin wax instead of a parasoy blend (aka smooth wax) or a soy wax. Paraffin tends to do in a jar. Hope that helps. I’m on the fence about this company too, I ordered from them but haven’t burned though a jar yet. I hope they throw well for you.

I haven't burnt any, but Coconut Cherry Macaroon smells like macaroon right away then coconut and ligh cherry scent. Goose Creek's blueberry always smells like a clay on cold, HAHA.
I just ordered 1 three wick and 4 room sprays! I’m hoping the candle will have a good throw I got the Cherry Pie one😁 What do you think of the room sprays, though?
I love Goose Creeks unusual names and scents but my only complaint is that they aren't strong enough. There body lotions seem to have strong scents and yes they are a little oily but use very little and they do seem to moisturize better than bath & body lotions. Bath & body works hand soap is more drying than GC. I just bought Goose Creek's wax melts. I'm hoping they have a better throw than their candles. May I suggest that you wait to do candle reviews until after you've burned them. Everyone does reviews of cold smell and what matters is the hot throw (to me ). Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, I did learn about the differents between goose creek and bath & body works room sprays. I've never tried bath & body's room sprays.
I’ve burn two candles from them so far, and they both had a pretty good throw, but thought they burnt fast. I still prefer BBW candles, but I think it’s because of the packaging and the store policy. Prices are better at Goose though!
totally agree. the prices seem to be way better at Goose especially now since BBW seems to have upped their prices seeing that the community is growing.
Their newer three weeks I just received are so strong they about knock you over. Which is great, because I love strong scents. I hope they got better for you once lit.
I have ordered Goose creek candles a few times. They are hit and miss. I found the floral and fruity scents to be stronger then the gourmand scents. Some have barely any throw. I do prefer BBW even though they are more expensive
BBW hasn't been giving us good sales as of late so ive been trying to see if I could find other companies that can match. Ive also found Goose Creek to be hit and miss so far, however 2 of the candles I lit immediately filled my room and I had to blow it out so I was pleasantly surprised with the throw. The HUGE jars at goose are on sale for $13.99 meanwhile BBW will only give us a $16 sale.. its not a good deal.

I purchase Goose Creek ONCE or TWICE a year. Only to control myself on candle purchases, haha. I recently purchased 6~ cannot wait to smell them.

Their large jar 2 wicks are Paraffin wax not soy wax like BBW and GC’s 3 wicks. The blistering is normal.

Snowman cookie is my absolute fave of mine!! Reminds me of Merry Cookie from Bath & Body when lit 😍😍
