I really hate seeing cords too! I also group them together with tape/ties like you do. But then I take it a step further and tape the group of cords to the back of the stand (like taped down the back of the monitor stand) to hide them further. It really helps with the visual clutter! Love the ideas Nikki!
How do these cords plug into the wall?? Help!😩 I’m redesigning my office right now and I’m facing this dilemma.
Beautiful! Loved all the tips. Especially the tip on keeping the first page of the desk planner blank. I remember you shared the tip of putting file folders with paper clamps on the top sheet of a stack of papers to eliminate visual clutter and for privacy. I have been using that tip ever since you shared it. Can't wait to see the custom build in unit, I know it is going to be exquisite.

You really got my attention when you spoke on how to hide my post-it notes that I love to use but can make a desk look cluttered. In our home we use mainly neutral colors as a background. Lots of whites, light greys and sand among wooden tones. I also have a few pillow covers that I change according to the season. All very settled, like you do. My desk looks similar. I love your idea of a notebook converted to a mousepad. For the electrical cords you could use fabric sewn into a hose and ruffle it. 😃

Planning to decorate my home office/sitting area (can be used for grand babies when they come visit one yr). I run a prek/daycare in my home so I will also utilize the space for non nappers to work on skills. So checking videos out to get inspired

Love this Nikki. I wish my office looked like yours. I am still recovering from my surgery but still having issues from it. Not letting the set backs to get to me. I pray more and journaling, reading etc. not much I can do but at least I am staying with the Faith, and staying optimistic at most. Praying for all of us. God has this.
My favourite items were the lovely sightings of your two adorable pups lounging luxuriously on those cozy white cushions under the desk! They made me smile from ear to ear with pure joy. The office decor was FAB.

I love seeing how this room has evolved!! I’m curious as to where are you cords under the desk and where are things plugged in? That’s what really bugs me is seeing them hang down underneath. Great look and y’all’ stay safe and healthy!
They are taped underneath the desk with cord organizers. I believe she also tapes the outlet under the desk as well.

I put a glaze on a white frame mirror. It was sooo white. Now its toned down looks nice . To hang over a dark stain oak bed . Each day I do a small project, nothing fancy , just enough to keep motivated. I'm 65 and am trying to reno an old house that I've lived in for over 30 years. Now I have time to pay attention to the details....where the devil is! Lol. Thankyou for sharing, I love what you do. Stay safe , keep well and eat good food!

I wrap my cords with ribbon. Only what I can't hide behind furniture & its right in view I use a matching ribbon/tulle and wrap it together as neat as I can.

Watching some of the videos of your office space today and my mind is blown. We share much of the same taste, in fact, I have spotted that we have the same gold scissors and stapler. Although my desk is dark wood, I have a similar white office chair. My desk accessories are also white and gold. How nice to see such a "familiar" environment.

Not going stir-crazy at all. In fact, my 12-old niece and I have dedicated the weekend to making face masks for essential workers and senior citizens in our neighborhood as well as hosting a DIY (via Zoom) for my Sorority sisters who want to make mask too-----BUT----we will be watching several of your organization videos during our break for inspiration and mental motivation.

Your videos always an inspiration for my dream home and office but with three small children and now in serious lockdown in our country, both my spouse and I working from home and homeschooling our children my office is a shambles. The kids and I are out in the back yard with the dog a lot- walking the dog in the forest behind our house ( no one goes) and I started to do some gardening and we play a game together on the TV called drawful 2. so much fun!
