Great job once again. Just finished your mad seasons video. Your an awesome guitarist! Anyway you could do the acoustic version of sunburn by fuel? There is no lesson on this song on RUclips.
Hey thanks a lot, that Mad Season is a great song!! I had another request for that one recently. I have a few easier acoustic lessons on tap and then I'm planning to do some more 90s type rock. I'll review and reconsider that one for sure! Thanks for the request!!
This is a great lesson Ryan! I like this tune - Great Job! I notice that all 3 versions you show on the intro have the same chord progression of 1-7-5-6. Seems that has a big impact on why this song is so unique. Also, in the bridge, that Cm and B7 really make an impact on this songs cadence and adds an interesting (harmonic) sound to his work.
Hi, I’d like to play that song on guitar but... could you tell me something more about the key/tuning? Basically, I don’t know if key & tuning are the same (I think not) and on the web there are: a standard version, an A minor key version (with standard tuning?!?), a G minor version, a capo version (like yours... but Chris doesn't use it uhm), etc. I’m just a curious person and I’d like to learn the original UNPLUGGED video version... thanx a lot! :D
This one is confusing because the version that I'm showing is to play along in Standard Tuning to the album version using a Capo to make all the chord shapes and changes easier IMO. If you want the Chris Cornell solo unplugged version my lesson probably won't help. I did show the first few chords of his version, but you'll have to transpose the rest of the chord changes or just find a good tab or chord sheet. I did originally figure his version out, but threw my notes away.
rpguitarvideos no, it's not that. Is this the version Chris Cornell played at studio? I'm serious about it, I got a good ear, but still it doesn't sound like like a stone.
Yeah, now I got it. Really couldn't find myself singing to this version, as I never heard any acoustic version of this song. Anyways, thanks for sharing it with the people.
This is brilliant, I hope you keep posting my friend. Top job 👍
Thanks a lot and ya I need to get back at it.

Thank you anyway bro! I love your version too and your kindness! Cheers!
Anytime and thanks a lot!
2:30 just skip to this part
To my ear it doesn't sound like like a stone at all, even in the "original" version.
You might be tone deaf

Not that I know of, he started his version on Am like I mentioned in the intro.
For sure, I agree!

Why make it more confused for a kid out there. This is terrible
The song is played in different keys from Audioslave to Chris Cornell playing solo, sorry boo
