Question: Whose graduation do I go to?" (I have a family friend who had twin boys, and both of them graduated on the same day from two different universities on opposite ends of the state from each other.)
When the doctor told my father that there were two hearts beating in the womb, he didn't think it was my twin sister and me. He thought it was a deformed baby with two hearts! XD
Been watching quite a few twins reveals to the dads, and though they're always very happy, there's always that moment of hesitation of "Oh man, this is going to be 2x what I expected to spend" lol.

My twin boys are now 15 and forget the budget - out the window! LOL

Yeah, cause its the MAN who goes out to work himself to death!

Non identical twins come from releasing 2 eggs, which is obviously all down to the mother. Identical twins come from the splitting of the fertilised egg (ie egg and sperm combined) and therefore can come from either parent.
And identical twins may also have separate placentas. Ergo, if they share placenta - definitely identical; if they're of different sex - definitely fraternal; same sex, but separate placentas - only DNA test can tell for sure.
