You really helped capture Amy's love for Sonic in this video and showed how it's more then just some fan girl crush and the deeper complexities of her character that many people, even those at SEGA rudely take for granted, I pray and hope SEGA will be able to show more of this about Amy some day.
I love this so much. As a female, I've always loved Amy as a strong female character in Sonic. Maybe she is overly obsessed with Sonic, but she's not weak in the slightest, she's able to defend and save herself. UGH I LOVE HER SO FRICKIN MUCH.

That was heartwarming. ♡ I think Amy's best moments of understanding Sonic are:
•A particular episode of Sonic X where she tells Sam Thorndyke that Sonic belongs to *no one*.
•Sonic IDW Issue #2 where Amy loves Sonic for who he is. She can't change him, nor does she want to.
I'm thankful that people dive deeper into Amy's love for Sonic. It *can* be written well, without losing Sonic's and Amy's characters in the end.

I agree, some people think Amy would be a better character without her love for Sonic, but they couldn't be more wrong, it's an important part of her character with deeper meaning and it's still possible to show her love the right way with the 2 of them still in charactern
I love Amy in Sonic X. Episode 9 The Last Resort was one of the sweetest sonic and Amy moments in the series.
I’m imagining Sonic watching this and seeing how Amy’s love for him is deeper than fangirling as well as how much of an ass he’s been around her a lot. I might be the only one thinking this, but I’m willing to bet otherwise.
This was amazing I loved it so much, Amy is such a strong girl physically and emotionally. I dont think I have a story but I have learned that no matter the hardship you should never give up hope even if it seems like there is no hope. Be the hope that someone needs :3

Amy Rose has impacted my life in such a way there’s no way to describe. I’ve been in love with Sonic the Hedgehog since I was a little girl, but what amazed me was the complex relationship between Sonic and Amy. I have shipped them ever since I was little and still do! But I’ve become so attached to Amy and who she is as a person; because she reminds me of me. Sometimes she can come across as too smothering and annoying, just as I can, but it only means that I truly care about you, and Amy cares for her friends, not just Sonic. She wants to people around her happy and she seems to do whatever she can to do that, which is exactly what I try to do for my friends and family.
Thank you so much for this video. It honestly made me feel more connected to Amy as a character and made me love her anymore.

Here’s what I take away from Amy:
We all have something we’re chasing. A goal, friendship, a place in this world after we leave the nest, the list goes on. The chase may be tough and sometimes we even ask ourselves if it’s worth the risk or if we’ll ever catch up. But because of our own motives and the people around us, we persevere and keep going. Without that drive, we won’t be chasing for very long. Great video as always, Sasso and Meghan! I’d love to see a vid from Knuckles’ prospective next!

I had to think about how Amy meant to me for quite some time. I guess I could say since she was considered a supportive person towards Sonic when no one else would think about his safety. Her unfailing determination to help others in need impacted me the most.

Okay, you're doing a FANTASTIC job on this series. It's nice to see such an expansion on Amy's character other than the disturbing approach the games have...where she chases Sonic with a mallet and forcefully trying to get him to marry her.

Oh wow, that's deep you guys! I think this is one of your best animations and I truly love how you show those feelings of Amy. Personally, I think Amy can run as fast as Sonic if she wants. Just look at the previous games like Heroes and Advance. I also think of her as a really strong character that's there to protect Sonic. Well done guys, love this video of my favorite character. :)

This vid was awesome! You guys do an amazing job on these storytime videos. I cant wait for more. Also, I chose Sonic for a storytime but, Id also like to see Knuckles too.
Anyways, I can relate to Amy in a way. She always wants to be close to Sonic, but she has to stay away due to circumstances. I have my best friend, who I consider as a sister. We wonder why we werent born in the same family sometimes. I have to spend alot of time away from her because we have our own, seperate lives to live. Shes got her life with her boyfriend, and Ive got mine. We sometimes wonder how close we'll be in the future, and always worry if something happens to one of us. We have an inseperable bond and yet....we're seperated. But we know that we'll still remain best friends.
(I hope that was somehow relatable 😁 Ive never been in a relationship so I dont know how to feel if I was seperated from my boyfriend. Im sure it would be awful though. Amy is strong. Very strong)

Explored some very deep, transcendent ideas and feelings that I think we all need to understand better to truly understand ourselves and the relationships we try to form with other people. You are right, at the end of the day we are all searching for one thing, genuine love and happiness.

This was so sad and at the same time so full of hope. It was a wonderful animation with a wonderful story to tell.
I know it sounds cheesy, but around a year of my life I spent it entirely in a hospital, because of an unlucky incident with my lungs. So I had to find something to pass my time. This is when I discovered Sonic and fell in love with the franchise. Gradually I learned more about the other characters and of course Amy. In the beginning she didn't stand out to me, but that changed slowly. Her powerful personality, her cheerfulness, her positivity, the emotional support she provides to her friends and her unlimited love became an inspiration for me. She isn't a complicated character, but she is pure and caring and that's what made her so important to me. For a kid that at the time had to stay in a closed room for around a year she became, although a fictional character, someone to look up to and at the same time a mental and emotional support.
5 years has passed since then but I still look out for her XD. The IDW reboot was a pleasant surprise as it revealed and emphasized on the best characteristics of her personality making her a well-written and a lovable character. As for her feelings for Sonic I think they are healthy and at the same time admirable. I love how you present her feelings for Sonic as a really important part of her, but not her only characteristic. In a QnA you said that Sonic and Amy won't end up together, but I love the hints and their interactions at your videos. You have done an amazing job of developing all of the 4 main characters' personality and backstories. Nevertheless, I believe that someone that can love someone so unconditionally and so truthfully deserves the respect that Amy has won and maybe a chance.
I am sorry for the long rant, but Amy means a lot to me and I am really happy that I found a content creator that treats her so gracefully and respectfully. Once again amazing job Sasso and Megan! Keep it up.

THE FEELS. This is actually pretty swell. NICE! Sometimes I used to wonder a few of these points mentioned years ago. Odd Its now 10 years since I've been a reborn Sonic fan. I still love the skits and cross overs and craziness. I guess I'll never stop loving this series. Amy's changed though since her earlier days lol. Her personality switch kinda reminds me of this comic short I'm reading on Webtoons called "EGGNOID" This girl who is kinda clingy learns to not be super clingy like she used to be but also she learns to make new friends and maybe even a new bf from a whole different dimension ;-) I won't spoil it too much but read it on Webtoons. Now as for the next story moment..I dunno. I'll say this much. Save his entire story for the 30th anniversary here in 3 years from now lol. Yeah I know long time but that way you'll have lots of time to prepare it meanwhile covering everyone else he knows ;-)
