    This what my middle school fire Alarm sounded like. My hi school one only had one speaker that did a voice in the main commons area other than that it was just an annoying fire alarm all the way around

    Not a fan of the word choice by that announcement. “There has been a fire alarm reported in the building.” Look there’s a fire alarm, there’s another, wow look at all those fire alarms.

    This is how fire alarms should sound. They should not be loud and anoying sort of like the horns.

    • @joeycaridi3030
      @joeycaridi3030 2 года назад +4

      They still need to be loud to get your attention but in a better form

      Well, This on chime, Which is normally in hospitals I’m not sure on this but I think NFPA 72 or somthing doesn’t allow that.

    • @jeffreyfryar3905
      @jeffreyfryar3905 2 года назад +4

      Yeah because nowadays, they have the general fire alarms that buzz, beep or screech really loud. They don’t have those ringing bell fire alarms anymore.

    • @railgunsforlife8303
      @railgunsforlife8303 Год назад

      The reason horns are typically more annoying than speakers is because horns uses piezo buzzers to generate the sound and piezo buzzers used in fire alarms are typically louder and higher pitched than speakers that are used in voice evacuation systems.

    • @joeycaridi3030
      @joeycaridi3030 Год назад

      @@railgunsforlife8303 Some speakers are louder than most piezo buzzer horns as they're set on a very high volume like 120 dB where most piezo horns fall out at 90-100 dB to be heard over ambient noises in high noise environments where regular horns won't work for voice evac systems
