He is a genius at talking but when it comes to practicals, it will never work out. If politicians ruled the country as they said and promised. Sri Lanka is a nation top-notch in the world. But all the politicians past and present have never done any thing to the country, What they have done is always take the prestige and benefits from the public and feed their family and friends that is why only their family members are living as kings of SL while people are paying taxes for them to maintain their family. This was a great opportunity seized by our president, he managed to display his knowledge on many sensitive areas: Geo politics, Sri lanka's ability to maintain sincere relationships with world powers like US, China and India, personal insights with regard to Ukraine - Russia war and Israel - Palestine war, the importance of Sri Lanka's geographical location, delting with views of the west with regard to sri lankan harbours being used as military bases of other countries like china and india, what are the steps taken to remove Sri Lanka from the status of bankruptcy with the involvement of IMF, regarding sri lanka being non aligned with countries like china, india and US for military benefits but simply for the development of sri lanka. It was a marvellous display of diplomatic skills, a display of knowledge regarding geopolitics, and he was capable of answering questions posed at him in a very smart manner.
He is pro-American and pro-British. He once said, he would implement a UK-type system of governance in Sri Lanka. But, UK never elected a politician who robbed their Central Bank, as their PM.
