Nice video. Thank you, Randy. May I challenge you to order and make the Chinese oscilloscope? They run from about 17 USD shipped unless you want a case and then they are about 23 bucks, out the door. I would really like to see one working in a ham shack.
Have you compared the component values in this kit to the application sheet? I think they used whatever was laying around in Shenzhen. If it works, it's more by luck than judgment.
I checked all the component values in my kit against the specification sheet and they were all correct (within %). I have just built mine today, but haven't run it yet. Great video, thanks Randy!
Ah, i understand what you meant now....i misunderstood and i apologize for being a newbie! Yes, having watched KainkaLabs adjustments to this kit, it does seem like they almost went out of their way NOT to follow the datasheet's recommended values, didn't they?! I fixed mine per his recommendations.
If you think of the level control as an Attenuator the original connection 'makes sense'. I have a digital scanner whose 'volume ' control works the same way and thinking 'attenuator' helps to rationalise the knob direction with level change. 73 VK2FALF
You're one of my favorite elmers, Randy. These build videos are by far the best. 73, KE0IMD.
Great video Randy. I went ahead and ordered a kit just for the fun of it. Thanks!
ANOTHER FINE JOB BY RANDY....
I have wanted a versatile lfo for a homemade univibe... This will work well...
Thanks for the show.
The older I get the worse it is. I now look like a cyborg when I'm working on things like this ;-)

I have seen those. Maybe when the rainy season returns.
Can you do a video connecting this to a speaker via an amplifier ???
Nice build Randy. Dave Casler is sending his viewers to your build of XR2206. Just ordered one today. Price increased to $13.

oh my...
Do this generate ultrasonic sounds for animal deterrents? Thank you.
don't think so
Hi You canh't run the XR2206 on 9 volts, it needs 12V, otherwise problems...
Randy,
Good video. I am new to scope use. How about a video on using the function generator?

Randy where is the video where you made the polarity tester out of a dental floss package from hamnation?

Brian, I have not checked against the data sheet. That might be interesting

I just ordered one of these! #1 you were building one #2 the price! For the money how can you go wrong
Have fun building your kit.
Great video.
I wish more pin sockets came as ceramic bases, not plastic.
That would be nice. But, $$s

Could be, but every level control increases and turned clockwise.
Nice!
Aways fun to watch! Quite a nice kit for nine bucks!Rick W0SKI
I guess there was no way to fix it with software
+Dellenite there is no software.
Great kit for a beginner and good bang-per-buck, but that sine wave - yuck! :)
