- Here's a mish mash of cheesy 80's music (yes I know that is redundant). Hopefully it will satisfy that spot in your brain that craves synthesizers, big hair, and classic training montage scenes (it's there whether you admit it or not).
So...let's see...in order, the songs are: What a Feeling (Irene Cara, from Flashdance), Don't Stop Believin' (Journey), Alone (Heart), Like a Prayer (Madonna), Total Eclipse of the Heart (Bonnie Tyler), Thriller (MIchael Jackson), Training Montage (Vince DiCola, from Rocky IV), Eye of the Tiger (Survivor), Arthur's Theme (Christopher Cross), Greatest Love of All (Whitney Houston), Invisible Touch (Genesis), Uptown Girl (Billy Joel), Love Theme from St. Elmo's Fire (David Foster), Livin' on a Prayer (Bon Jovi), Jump (Van Halen), and last but not least, Time After Time (Cyndi Lauper).
If that doesn't satisfy your 80's fix, you're living in the wrong decade! So...16 songs in 10 minutes - I'd say that's pretty bodacious. Enjoy!

I many be born later than the 80's, but that that does not mean that I did not grow up with this music. Amazing rendition of the songs.

Anyone else feel different emotions when listening to someone play the piano really well? I can't explain it
People who disliked this obviously dont appreciate great music and pure talent. I feel sorry for them.

Dear PianoDoc: I must disagree. This isn't cheesy -- this is good music with good melodies. You did a remarkable job. I can feel my shoulder pads growing while listening! Bravo!
Your videos cheer me up. My aunt bought me a keyboard, dont know which model it was, she said she spent almost $2,500 for it. She had hid it under the love seat; her house caught fire, the keyboard, get this, NO DAMAGE. The box did NOT have any damage to it. Once Im able to get back to the house, Im so getting it.... It was the ONLY thing salvageable.

Great compilation. And fitting that it was published in April of '07, because that summer was when I really began to get into 80's music. I had just turned nine in the summer of '07, and my local Adult Contemporary station would flip to an all-80's format nearly every other weekend. We had just moved into a new house the previous year. So I listened to a lot of 80's music while riding in the excavator and front end loader with my dad when we were landscaping our yard, which is probably why I associate 80's with construction equipment to this day.
I dunno much about piano/keys but anyone who plays Vince Dicola is top man in my book!!!

I herd this two years ago and I stumbled across it again.....so amazing.
I'm not gonna be one of those people that says "31 people hate piano" or whatever all those lame comments are. But I really do wonder how anyone could dislike this video. All the songs are played so beautifully and the video absolutely delivers what the title says. oh well... i guess haters gonna hate.

THAT.......WAS......AMAZING!!!! I love thr 80's so much and this is like the culmination of awesomeness right here for me. the St. Elmo's fire love theme was SPOT ON! it sounded exactly the same as if it was being played during the movie. everyhting else was pure excelence and i applaud u for that as a fellow pianist. I cant play anywhere near as good as u and im going to start lessons soon again so maybe one day......but still great!!! i was amazed
