Hello, my name is Gloria and I'm currently producing a series of TV documentaries about environment and biodiversity. One of those documentaries will focus on invasive species in Spain and how they affect our ecosystem. In this context, we will talk about California kingsnake and its spread along Gran Canaria. I'd like to know if it would be possible for us to include some parts from your video in our project. For further information, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you.

Great video. I'm going to Gran Canaria in the summer and was planning on taking a drone. However, I've been worried about Spain's harsh anti-drone legislation from 2015. Really high fines for doing drone footage. I'd be intersted to know how you got on as a lot of your shots seem to be breaking their laws. Did you seek any special permissions for filming over beaches or in the national parks?

Andrew Daw thanks. If you want to use your drone for recreational use you don't need to be authorized. You can take drone footage but you cannot use it for commercials uses.

Tanghi thanks very much for replying. My understanding was that there are still very strict restrictions for recreational use. Specifically, no flying in National Parks, urban areas and over beaches. The fines are really high. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Andrew Daw I read nothing for the national parks but for the rest it is necessary to avoid the frequented places.

You did fly over Maspalomas Dunes, this is prohibited area - no matter commercial or recreational.

Hi, nice video. I download this app itunes.apple.com/us/app/icarusrpa/id1316018026 and for Gran Canaria there is not easy to know where to fly. RVF Areas what does that mean. And what´s the lay for flying drones at Gran Canaria? I will go the this summer and what to fly with my drone.

Gran Canaria tiene mucho más que eso, y menos repitiendo el mismo hotel en las imágenes, pura propaganda

In Spain it is not allowed to fly with drones in cities or restricted areas. You can not fly over people, cities and natural parks. It has not complied with legal regulations. There are sanctions for these infractions.
In addition, it has flown over the airspace controlled by CTR, (Mas Palomas) where it is NOT allowed to fly to drones, except if it is made from an infrastructure destined for RPAS coordinated with the aerodrome and the ATS provider.
