I had a 57 Golden Hawk that was Black with gold top and gold fin contrast. I was going to school and finally had to give it up. One of 2 cars and trucks that I wish that I had back. It had old Cragar mags on it and was a car that captured more interest than anything I ever owned.
Such a beautiful car! I wish I had a time machine to jump back to 1961.

Derek Goodwin thanks for the feedback. I’m trying to do a better job on the videos. My dad loves his Studebaker.
What a beautiful car! Thank you for sharing it!
Dad and Mom actually drove it to Church today.
1961 Studebaker Hawk !
Love the Hawk series, but prefer the finless design with its sloping rear fenders.
At least 100 years ahead of its time.
Totally agree
i have the same car but with 4sp on floor and twin trac
Nice
Did it have the Packard motor by 61?
It does get tons of attention. It has a wide block 289
No… it was the Studebaker President 289 V-8. The last Packard V-8 was the 352.
01:24 Apparently, Big-Boy Pants are not required to drive it. 😅🤣🙂
Yup! Typical Studebaker....everything rattles and threatens to fall off the car. LOL
