As I hit my 30s I thought I was done cultivating a list of bands I loved. I was just going to be old and stuck with the haircut of my 20s. Then this band happened. Hot dang so in love.
I feel like this band went inside my head and said "what does Greg wish existed so he could listen to it?" because they fucking hit the godamn spot for me. I cannot stop raving.
I think ive watched/listened to this session about 10 times now and I keep coming back. Not only are Callous Daboys a great band (and Flip Flops at a Funeral is one of my favorite songs from any artist ever), the recording here has that intermittent breaks and silliness you expect at a live show, but is recorded with studio quality. It's hard watching some recordings of live shows because of the back and forth of the audio, along with the shaky camera, among other issues that personally annoy me, but this is the perfect middleground. I love this so much.

I sense a heavy Dillinger influence with the spraticness of something between the buried and me but with there extremely unique own style .I love that they don't take them selves too serious which makes they absolutely a band .

This band is so insane!! I watched a reaction video to Title Song tonight, and after that, I spent the last 3 hours absorbing as much of this band as I can. This live video is the cream of the crop. Crazy to see them jamming it out. Didn't even realize there was a fiddle or violin player in the band at first... but now I can't not hear it. Sometimes, with some of their stuff, it sounds like The Dillinger Escape Plan had a love child with 3 Days Grace/La Dispute... which is F'ed, because I hate 3 Days grace... but yet... this smashes. So hard. A. F'ing. Mazing.

From her social media posts, looks like she is pursuing other musical endeavors /jobs and still goes on stage with the band when they happen to be in the same locations (there are various pics with both her and Abby - the new synth+vocal member) on stage. But wiki and promo pics of the band seems that Abby is officially the new synth+vocals girl since 2022 (just after the release of the new album).
