It's normally fine, but when you have 50+ bolts going off without a target, that's when you get that weird black screen.
Lorien can make almost any build OP 💪
I've tested this skill with a Bask in Greatness (the last line talent that triggers 3 strikes) build, with + 7 strike missile count and it is straight up broken af. The only problem with that build is the overwhelming visual effects. I got the Djinn down in like 5 seconds.
We're really playing two different games.

I am almost 100% certain that all gear based damage procs are considered “Powers”.
I know for a fact that poison nova, frost nova, fire bolt etc are “Powers”.
I will investigate as soon as I find a black lightning piece and report back soon.
Black lightning is a strike
Not all gear, there's a list floating around somewhere that shows it, most gear is either power or strike

I need a black lightning piece of gear for Skadi. Scorpion queen and skadis extra strike projectile with a luck build has to go hard as well.

tip for catching things that go by really fast (if you're watching on pc): while the video is paused, the comma and period keys move the video backward and forward respectively by one frame. Sometimes a little annoying to spam a key 20 times to move a quarter of a second forward in the video but I've found it significantly easier than playing the "try to pause at the right time" game.
@@emptynight4861 I'm not always on the PC when I get to watch these, hence my request. Only for a second or two instead of faster than people blink :p

also i have many hours in this game. and i was playing act 1 the other day d100 and i found a shrine that i forgot its name, but said take 100 leather damage for 5 levels... i've never seen that one before and ooooh boi that was a GOOOD run.. was on krom too so it was just super super op.
Hmm that must be a new one or one of the super rare ones got changed, guess I need to go explore act 1 some more
i've found running waste with neg life regen isn't an issue as long as you have any one item with life leech on kill or hit. im lucky that i got 2 items , a ring that is 7% chance for life on kill 22 adapt 22 legendary and 60% upgrade offers and a relic that is 9% chance for life on kill and 6/6/6 dice rolls. and i haven't been able to replace them cause there sorta just to good and keep me alive in D100 so far on all my chars but nix.
Do you have any particular strategy for farming gear? Did like 20 runs, had frozen treasure on all of em, didn't see a single piece of gear with black lightning on it. Or is this mod just supposed to be insanely rare?
It's very rare + 5 minute shop resets. It's the most efficient way to farm gear

Grind act two, use farmers ring if you have it. Uniques can't spawn in the shop so your best bet is full clearing act 2 on d30.
There may be a more optimal darkness level to farm for it since it's epic but I'm not sure what it is.

you wore 2 black lightning items... is there a place to confirm if wearing multiple of them stacks? is it on the DMD discord somewhere? like i know the skeleton army items stacks but that's cause you can physically see all of them. just curious about this
It does, I believe it is two separate instances though. Asking in the DMD discord will usually get you an answer
They don't 'stack' per se... they just both have a roll for a chance... I know this because I equipped 6 x 20% chance of poison dash items and still had the occasional dash where it didn't proc.
dang i felt like i was gonna pass out watching this last night i had to turn it off even tho i wanted to watch it all - to many flashes for me lol . but good ownage
