Prompt for week 114 is #broke. I picked ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’ by My Chemical Romance. The Black Parade is an MCR album centered on a character only known as "The Patient", a man fatally diagnosed with cancer who dies and begins his journey into the afterlife, reflecting on his life and what's to become of his memory towards his loved-ones and family.
Photo is from the Krewe of Boo parade in New Orleans. Krewe of BOO! became New Orleans' Official Halloween Parade in 2007 and since then has grown to be a spooktacular weekend of Halloween-themed events, combining the magnitude of Mardi Gras with the macabre theatrics of All Hallow's Eve.
