I wonder if there might be more to this story? Perhaps a prelude, detailing how things got the way they did...or a sequel, maybe a conversation inside the compound with someone else who took the...offer?
I like to pretend this is the same storyline (and greenhouse) as Seeds and Stitches, just several months later. Someday I'll come up with a headcanon for how things went sideways for the poor nice zombie lady.

They're definitely vampires, and they realize how screwed they are with so few humans left. That's why it's a good deal even willing to give a second chance if you day no the first time.

Of course I remember! Sounds like a lot of life has happened. It’s lovely to hear from you. Front thighs are less painful than other areas, but not necessarily free from it. Calves can be a bit rougher if you hit down the shin. It’s important to find a well experienced and recommended artist who will help you be most comfortable. A shark does sound very cool though!
I don't even know what I'd do in that situation. Weighing pros and cons, assuming my... hosts are speaking the truth, it definitely seems safer to stay. Who can really say. I hope I never have to live in an actual apocalypse. The bat pandemic was pretty bad. But actual monsters about? Hecc no.
