    I'm really keen to see how Devis Vasquez goes in the Empoli v Milan game. Unfortunately articles have suggested that Empoli can buy him for a song at the end of the season. His excellent on loan form has been one of the surprises of the season. Should Milan want to cash in on Maignan (and we can get out of the Empoli purchase), then he could be recalled as our number one on current form.

    Those ads, when browsing from phone, that cover 3/4 of the screen make me feel the same way after a Milan game with Fonseca in charge....in case someone is interested in this kind of feedback.

    The idiotic decision to get a "striker" that's never in the box, for a league that a "target man" in the box is a must, is only overshadowed by the idiotic decision to sell Kalulu and buy Royal. Combine those with getting a mediocre manager instead of a proven one, and you get 19 pts from 12 games. Their "work in progress" project is not working, we've gotten worse every season since the scudetto.

    I just had to go watch the Milan Juve game in 2011-12 season where Muntari goal was disallowed. What a night and day difference between 2 games.

    Tomori had about 10 yellow cards last season, despite being injured for 2 months - makes alot of similar errors + rash challenges.
    He's a good defender when on top form but c'mon guys Fonseca choosing Thiaw and Gabbia over him is not a massive over reach.

    Fonseca's post game comments after Juve were damning. If he has no faith in his players then he should walk. Management are not going to make dramatic changes to the list. That has been proven many times.

    Fonseca has to go before December. I disnt think it could get worse than Pioli last season But Cardinale needs to replace all of Furlani, Ibra and Moncada too. This team has the worst management team in Serie A. This coach has no balls and he’s definitely just as bad if not worse than Lopotegui. Conte would have made Milan at the top of the league and we would have played counter attacking football which is best for this Milan team. Milan management should all be sacked. This is embarrassing and shameful. We are not making any progress. This team is regressing at break neck speed. Smh

      @marcuspiera 15 дней назад

      Exactly!! Furlani and Moncada are the rot that is destroying Milan! Conte wanted Milan but they would not let him have the freedom he needs to build a good team. I keep saying we should have kept Pioli (for now) and given him better players! Everyone keeps saying how bad Pioli was last season but nobody realises he was dumped with a bunch of new, young players with no serie a experience. I personally believe Pioli had no, or very little say in the market. You cannot experiment like that in a top league where you are competing for champions league places.

  • @marcuspiera
    @marcuspiera 16 дней назад +1

    We needed to keep Pioli, sell a bunch of players, including Leao and give Pioli better players. He won the league with a bunch of very average players. He was only going to get better IMHO. Motta or Conte would have been a good choice if Pioli were to be replaced. But for some reason Moncada and Co. seem to think bringing a bunch of players who have no serie a experience was a good idea, and likewise with our trophy-less coach.

      You can’t be serious, right. Hahaha. Pioli’s time at the club had to end after last season because the players were tired of Pioli’s tactics and we finished 20 points behind Inter for the title. You can certainly criticize management for picking the wrong coach to replace Pioli, but I’m sorry he had to go.

    • @marcuspiera
      @marcuspiera 15 дней назад

      @anthonylafleur6549 he's better than what we have now! Pioli wasn't the problem. It's the players! Give the man better players! Conte would have been great. But replacing a scudetto winning coach that was getting us champions league with an idiot from a crap league that has no silverware to speak of is just insane. We are supposed to be getting better. Not worse!

    we need an experienced CB(s) to help these young guys learn. maldini learned from baresi -> kaladze learned and nesta was took to next level by maldini -> silva learned from nesta and thats where it stops. Romagnoli was insanely promising but could never fully develop and the same thing is happening with guys like Pavlovic and Thiaw. Who is there to mentor these guys? Like both are brimming with potential but without anyone to guide them its wasted.
    So why go for Mosquera? Its not a position like winger where you can make up for deficiencies by strategizing around it. Half of a good CB is physicality and the other is your mental game/football iq. Good passing is a bonus but not required (but that much can be bettered with exercises in training sessions)
    We couldve went for Hummels and even if he had injury issues, those 15-20 games a season would be big but that mentoring would help Milan so much more. And all of that for a free transfer
