Hey man. pronounciation of written word in czech is the easiest thing about the language. We read everything exactly as it is written. A as in bank. E as in cell. I as in pink. O as in nontheless. U as in y"ou"tube. Yes, basicaly as if germans pronounced it. What you read there is actualy a german prescription of czech name, the original would be "Samopeš". The Š letter stands for the sound english expresses with SH combination,like shit. It is the same for every letter with " ˇ " above it - they make it sound soft. To demonstrate, I will write a few english words, how we would do it. ček it aut - check it out. (we pronounce C always as in lettuce) kolonel Senders- colonel Sanders de kops šot untyl he vas ded -the cops shot until he was dead (letter "i" is pronounced as soft, so we use ypsilon for hard words) numerus - numerous (double letters express different sound) OU JÉ! - OH Yeah! (ou is a double-lettered sound, the other is CH) Dženeral Lí vas e rejcyst - I will let you figure this one out. Overal advantage is how little time you need to learn how to write, despite having 33 letters instead of 26, you do not bump into grammar errors because each word is spelled diferently (czech, check, cheque). Spelling bee is bullshit in czech language, first class kid can write any word. And those extra letters are just modified versions of those in alphabet you know. Anyway, the scribes were often germans, with no knowledge of czech, so they wrote down the names in german or latin. So just pronounce it like german would, game developers made it easy for westerners.

@@helicalgoose Do not learn it. It is one of the hardest languages in world, halfassing is not gonna get you anywhere and you gonna regret doing it. If english is 1, french and german 2, than slavic languages are level 4. Learning enough czech to be able to talk is 45 mins intense study and revising every day for a year. Lot of US expats come to work in prague, and never learn czech, thus may not receive citizenship. Among slavic languages, we have the neatest alphabet system, look at poland or russia, one uses 4 letters for each sound and the other entirely different alphabet (which was invented in bohemia cca 900). Coincidentaly czech alphabet was introduced by Jan Hus the game mentions a few times.
It is crazy how many there are. The thing that puzzles me, you can test out in your game too, but I think the guards lose perception or they do not act as normal guards anymore. I also tried to build the stack way higher, but there might be a force deleting some guards or maybe they all go to the bed at the same time and there is a stack of them in the beds that I do not see at times? I need to do more testing on this, see how to abuse it further. But more guards, means less crime? or more crime? I can't tell. Depends on Henry's mood :P
I am fairly certain there will be a sequel. The devs have been putting out the dlc's last couple years. I can see that they're still active and trying to raise some funds. I just think they are doing the smart thing and staying silent on any specific release date to avoid building up the hype train too much. Sort of like what happened with No Man Sky.
I usually go to Pribyslaviz, when I feel the urge to wipe out an army, using somewhat cheesy game mechanics. Probably I am too much of a goodie two-shows player, to simply wipe out all the poor upstanding citizens and guards ;-) But it is still fun watching you on your rampages. The observation of the multiplying guards, made me wondering, if the bandits and Cumans, in Pribyslaviz also multiply, if you wipe them out often. I need to test this, if I find the time.
Hmmm, I do not think that happens in Pribyslaviz, but then again I never thoroughly tested it. Guards are one of those special things, that have set pieces to walk around, but those bandits should too. That would be quite interesting since some of them spawn with 1k+ arrows sometimes and if you keep abusing the respawn on them and just bork the economy for arrows with the little spawn trick :P
lol, I find myself emphasizing "COME" a bit too much. This is due to my brain when I do the intro. I want to say Curious Expedition 2 since I have done a lot of videos like that and it toggles my tongue a bit. I am sure when I get around to other games, I will have the same problem where I want to say Kingdom Come :P
I'm very picky on RUclipsrs I watch. I just found this channel today and I am glad I did. Every video has been entertaining and has digged into the game more than I ever bothered to. What a man.

The biggest problem with killing guards in a town, over and over, for fun or to mine them to sell their gear for money is you'll end up with so many guards that it will crash the game when you go back to or try to pass through that town.
:D In Rattay for certain. If you try to fast travel through there you end up going at a snails pace. My game did not crash (I didn't harvest the guards enough). But I believe your fast travel speed slows down the more people (guards in this game) that are around. I was seriously trying to break the game when you're forced to fast travel through certain parts and see if you could stop the game, but that was far too much work in the rare cases it did happen :( But I like your style :)
i once killed the bailif of ledetchko and killed all the guards when they wanted to arrest me and sold their armour and since its in the middle of the map i had to go through there all the time and slaughtered all the guards and after a while i went to jail came back and had something like 20-50 guards on one single spot and none of them moved and everytime i came too close to them frames dropped to something like 1 every minute and sometimes my game crashed
Then you did it the right way :D When you slaughter so many people that the game starts to crash, that is just the game physics going bonkers and telling you did a good job :P If you're on PC try turning down the physics interactions, this seem to help whenever I am wiping out entire villages.

I think it might be possible. It is hard to say. I mean sort of in cut scenes Henry kills Runt. So, I do not know if that counts against you. Also, they want you to deal with the archers in that battle. I do not know if killing them is required or just knocking them out. Something I would have to look into.
I would say cutscenes do not count since you are not in control of your character. And maybe if a main quest absolutely require you to kill someone, well, it is what it is. But I think a pacifist Henry would be interesting to watch, since we already saw murder machine Henry .
That is a good idea someday :) I have not gotten into mods with this game quite yet. But maybe once I get some more free time, that might be a good short video for everyone.
I just love to think about a grenade in KCD! Also, I think if I used a grenade with all the items on the floor, then my computer would've died instantly :P

I need to see how many items I could put out at once and see if it would crash me. I put out about 2000 potion bottles and 2000 herbs down and my computer did not like it, but did not crash, so I think my limit is around 4 to 5 thousand items :P
The question is, if they were naked to start would they equip these things they pickup? If you replace their chest items would they wear that stuff? I'd be interested to see if you could turn a town into rich people/guards with all the best equipment
Unfortunately not :( I wish I could play dress up with all the NPCs or they would dress themselves up in really fine armor. If this was possible, I would strive to get all of Rattay into full armor set just for the kick of it :P
@@TrialBySquire The guards do rearm themselves which is great for Skalitz in the tutorial area since you can technically farm arrows (if the guy is a bow user). The unfortunate thing even with chests it seems the NPCs are connected to a "specific clothing" (I think). Meaning they will not touch any other clothing. Proof of this is going to the Inn in the Glade where 4-6 NPCs use the same chest at night to put their stuff away and grab it. If I steal all that stuff then put something back in there they do not grab the other item, sort of strange. I have not tried putting back their old item and see if they would wear it again? But unfortunately its not an exploitable (as far as I can tell) method. Sometimes it can be, because some NPCs have the habit of wanting to wake up to grab their stuff but if nothing is there they will cycle and "make new things". It is strange, you got to catch NPCs while they're on their way to complete the action of dressing or undressing. (or on their way to do it), they sort of freak out and cause funny things to happen.
And there will be another one. More and more bugs keep popping up in this game lol I thought I would be done with just 3, but it keeps pulling me back.
I had an issue on one playthrough where the game was getting stuck during loading. I'd reload and it would keep happening. This was recent so it's still an issue (playing on PC) and I looked for what the fix was. There's a cheat mod that allows you to use console commands. There's a command that allows you to save the game while it is loading: cheat_save. You save and when you reload it skips the cut scene. The console command also allows you to spawn in npcs. You can spawn in a crap load of Cumans, bandits, every bailiff in the game. You can also bring in particular NPCs like to use one, Radzig. But it doesn't simply bring in Radzig as one NPC. It brings in different versions that are in different clothes/armour and look a bit different.
Yup I think we talked about this on another video with the cheat mod. I still have not downloaded it yet, but I think once I get through all the bugs in the normal vanilla or I need something to show quickly then that would be awesome to use. I would download and use it now, but I feel like I need to get a better computer before that. I have the tendency to start spawning as much stuff asap and boom there goes the computer :P
The part that baffled me was that I do not think I was in stealth mode at all. I just finish stabbing someone in front of that same guard. I do not know for certain, but it seems the extra guards that spawn for some reason(?) those seem to be dumber. Something is wrong with them or it gives the perception of that. I will have to do more testing, but they are being a little bit nutty.
@@helicalgoose I don't know what you have PC wise but I've got a GTX 1070, i7 6700... so the CPU isn't great, graphics card should be fine. I mean obviously there's better but yeah... Trying to spawn in as many bandits, cumans, the game lags really really badly. Like single digits for a while there. Yeah, the high stealth though you don't even have to be in stealth, you can just be standing still or just walking (not crouched) and they are stupid :D Honestly I've not noticed in my playing of kill guard = causing other guards to spawn like happens to you. Not saying it hasn't happened just isn't something I remember seeing.

Actually getting the same thing in my game. Didn't think I killed that many guards(Maybe a couple here and there). It really stacks up over time.

I put out about 2000 potion bottles and 2000 herbs down and my computer did not like it, but did not crash, so I think my limit is around 4 to 5 thousand items :P

Out of all the guards, they were the worse.
Also they lacked the ability to look up or get inside a wagon by the inn.

The question is, if they were naked to start would they equip these things they pickup? If you replace their chest items would they wear that stuff? I'd be interested to see if you could turn a town into rich people/guards with all the best equipment

I wish I could play dress up with all the NPCs or they would dress themselves up in really fine armor.
If this was possible, I would strive to get all of Rattay into full armor set just for the kick of it :P
@@helicalgoose that is indeed a shame. I thought maybe because the guards rearm themselves there might be some exploitable mechanic
@@TrialBySquire The guards do rearm themselves which is great for Skalitz in the tutorial area since you can technically farm arrows (if the guy is a bow user).
The unfortunate thing even with chests it seems the NPCs are connected to a "specific clothing" (I think).
Meaning they will not touch any other clothing.
Proof of this is going to the Inn in the Glade where 4-6 NPCs use the same chest at night to put their stuff away and grab it.
If I steal all that stuff then put something back in there they do not grab the other item, sort of strange.
I have not tried putting back their old item and see if they would wear it again?
But unfortunately its not an exploitable (as far as I can tell) method. Sometimes it can be, because some NPCs have the habit of wanting to wake up to grab their stuff but if nothing is there they will cycle and "make new things". It is strange, you got to catch NPCs while they're on their way to complete the action of dressing or undressing. (or on their way to do it), they sort of freak out and cause funny things to happen.

I had an issue on one playthrough where the game was getting stuck during loading. I'd reload and it would keep happening. This was recent so it's still an issue (playing on PC) and I looked for what the fix was. There's a cheat mod that allows you to use console commands. There's a command that allows you to save the game while it is loading: cheat_save. You save and when you reload it skips the cut scene.
The console command also allows you to spawn in npcs. You can spawn in a crap load of Cumans, bandits, every bailiff in the game. You can also bring in particular NPCs like to use one, Radzig. But it doesn't simply bring in Radzig as one NPC. It brings in different versions that are in different clothes/armour and look a bit different.

Yeah the guards get very stupid when you have stealth. It's like you are invisible :D
Yup I think we talked about this on another video with the cheat mod. I still have not downloaded it yet, but I think once I get through all the bugs in the normal vanilla or I need something to show quickly then that would be awesome to use.
I would download and use it now, but I feel like I need to get a better computer before that. I have the tendency to start spawning as much stuff asap and boom there goes the computer :P
The part that baffled me was that I do not think I was in stealth mode at all. I just finish stabbing someone in front of that same guard.
I do not know for certain, but it seems the extra guards that spawn for some reason(?) those seem to be dumber. Something is wrong with them or it gives the perception of that. I will have to do more testing, but they are being a little bit nutty.
@@helicalgoose I don't know what you have PC wise but I've got a GTX 1070, i7 6700... so the CPU isn't great, graphics card should be fine. I mean obviously there's better but yeah... Trying to spawn in as many bandits, cumans, the game lags really really badly. Like single digits for a while there.
Yeah, the high stealth though you don't even have to be in stealth, you can just be standing still or just walking (not crouched) and they are stupid :D
Honestly I've not noticed in my playing of kill guard = causing other guards to spawn like happens to you. Not saying it hasn't happened just isn't something I remember seeing.

Thanks for asking! Its been awhile since Ive made this video but the job is actually pretty good.
People are good and the work is fairly good. Wish for better pay and growth, but its a good 8-9 hourish daily job to sort of be able to do things outside my work :D
