I honestly don’t think that making everything grey is very “pleasing to the eye” the light monsters already look good, not all cold monsters have the exact same colour palette so doing this with the light monsters wouldn’t make the much better, yes this does make their theme a bit more obvious but draining them of all colour just takes away all their personality I’d say keep the colour they had and just making their light more prominent would be better. Also with fluoress they are a pure light elemental making them light up in all colours of the rainbow meaning they’re just using green for the sake of someone being green. This is not meant to be hateful I’m just trying to share my opinion so I’m sorry if I came off as a bit rude I’m fine if you do think these designs are better than the originals please don’t come for me

Yep, not good. My main issue is you changing the colours. Them having different shades of grey it defining and interesting, your version makes them boring. The light monsters colors is actually clever, the grey in spytrap is kind of red, it makes a red light, gobs grey is part green, makes green light, bulbos grey is part blue, makes blue like etc etc
Personally, I think that the grey should have a *light* colour to them, for example, floress (correct my spelling if im wrong) should have a bit of green in the grey and light up as she does now, so should the others. Blowt should keep your redesign but when singing have a stronger (and I mean *blindingly* strong) glow
I think making the entire monsters just purely grey doesnt work, like gobs inside mouth has no color and the others also have parts that should be colored.
My personal opinion I personally prefer the not same shade of grey designs, though that's personally my opinion I do like how much lighter all the light monsters are though Maybe change some colours though, eg: I thing tootoos brighter tutu looked better, and fluoress should probably still be rainbow. Bulbo was pretty good lightwise Spytrap is a bit too bright, and maybe the wrong colour Gob also looks a bit wrong But good redesigns anyways
Ok, so personally, my opinion overall is that there are some good ideas and some bad ones. The light monsters being entirely desaturated seemed bad to me personally. -Fluoress not lighting up every color ruins her whole point. She is the PURE light monster, so she should be every shade of light. Also the 'Gob Grey' doesn't look right on her when she is lit up -Gob was made infinitely better, with the simple change of giving color and making his light actually light -Spytrap honestly should have been the green one. It has green eyes and looks like a plant pot. It should def light up more tho, but not so much you can't see the spider guy inside. -Pluckbill. I do not like Pluckbill. Not specifically this rendition, I just don't like it in general. It's a hideous purple with an ugly face. Beaks are supposed to include mouths, not a beak and ALSO a mouth. I hate it, it cant be redeemed. -Having TooToo ACTUALLY LIGHT UP YELLOW was a great idea. She is really standoffish compared to the group, as the others are all colors close to gray, but she is Black and White, so changing her skirt to a grey color may do well for her. -Bulbo looks nearly identical aside from lighting up more, so I like his changes -Fiddlement having his orange floof was what made him one of my favorites, so removing his orange made him lose what made him special to me, however, making it slightly more desaturated may look nice. It is also offputting having his face not lit while idle, as I can imagine that would make him look lifeless -I can't believe I didn't realize Blow't was represented by the ring on the element. Changing his color is a good thing because naked mole-rat pink doesn't suit him. Maybe not to grey, but def don't keep him pink. Lastly, I'd like to point out that the light monsters do have consistency. HOWEVER, their consistency isn't in their visual design. It is instead their audio design. They are all harmonious, soft, serene, instrumentalists. (Imo, the song sounds so much better with only them and Sooza, becuz I can't stand DUM DIDDLY DUM DUM DUM DUM)
I personally don’t like really these redesigns. I can’t really put my finger on what’s bothering me about them, though. Making them only have the color they represent is cool. But for an idea for the next one, maybe cover the Psychic element next? Some monsters like Bonkers and Tapricorn really don’t strike me of having Psychic capabilities.
I was thinking of a scenario when you mentioned all the parts of Symbol Canonicity, here's how it goes: The Light Island stops glowing, and everything goes silent. Luckily, it turns back on after a few seconds, but everyone is all over the place struggling to find a good place. Blow't puts the Light monsters in a good order by glowing his spikes one by one. Red to match with Gob, Orange to match with Fiddlement, Yellow for TooToo, Green for Fluoress, Blue for Bulbo, Purple for Pluckbill, and Pink for Spytrap. They are gathered around Blow't and he glows some spikes at a time, being a conductor, he is heard very less for the whole song once since that'sn't how his sound goes, and then he does it again two more times. Before the fourth, he lets everyone know he will play his normal part and the monsters play the song well. I'm not expecting this to be a #msmdraw because this was not recent, but it would be fun to see Blow't as a conductor.
I Hate That The Monster Redesign Made All The Monsters Have The Same Color As Each Other And It’s Really Bad, I Liked The Original Color Scheme Sense It Looks Colorful
I’ve always liked the idea of designing your own elemental monsters. Like perhaps rainbow or time or dream. Or maybe hybrids of pre existing elements like plasma and earth or psychic and cold. Maybe you could try designing something like that?
At first I wasn’t going with it seeing as he literally said that they shouldn’t all be exact cookie cutters of each other and then he made them all exactly the same color palette but once he started adding color he actually got me on board
I'm actually pretty on board with the different shades of gray, but it'd be a bit better to look at if Flouress was in multiple shades of green instead of just one- like a gradient! As well as potentially just desaturating them, instead of chancing those slight changes in general light amount
Actually the symbol just means what shade of slightly colored gray is. Fluoress is gray green .too too represents the yellow .spytrap is gray pinkish red. Pluckbill is a shade of gray purple and ect. Their star color represents they gray colored skin or whatever .their light doesnt represent it tho.
I think some of the monsters, especially Blow’t and Pluckbill, should be more colorful when they are playing. The monsters should also have some variation in color. Fluoress would look very plain if its dress was completely green, and Gob would look kind of strange only emitting red light. They should also vary in color when they aren’t playing, even if it’s only a little bit of variation. Especially since some of that gray color carries over into when the monsters are playing. These new monsters aren’t as illuminated as the originals, they should be more varied and colorful. Maybe Spytrap could flash multiple colors, but it could flash pink more than the others and always have the pink aura where it hits. Blow’t’s face could gain color when it puffs up, and it could change color as it plays different notes. Pluckbill’s strings could be different shades of purple, and it gains its original color when it plays. Fluoress could have a dress with different shades of gray, and when the different parts of the dress are plucked, they could change to a vibrant color, then become green, and then go back to gray. I’m not trying to be rude, these Light monsters look wonderful. I just think variation is the key to a good monster. You don’t see a blatant copy of Furcorn on every island.
I think their variations of gray is just foreshadowing of their glowing colour. No need to make them all grey. And even if so ya should've kept the value. Some must be darker some are lighter than usual gray. I do agree with everything else tho. Except tootoo's tutu glowing. It resembles fluoress too much. Better make the shoes light up. Aight great video anyways Keep it up
1:55 that's quite an exaggeration of the island's theme. Sure, they are supposed to look dull in colour and produce light when playing but to much of each can easily be very unappealing. While flouress and blow't are by far the two monsters that fit that criteria well they are also the single element monster of light and quad/boss of light island. Being the two that have the most vibrant chance should really just be their thing.
I think that they should keep their redesigned colours (other than Fluoress’ that should stay rainbow) but keep the different shades of grey. Making them the same just makes them look even more boring than they already were. And also, the lights should be a little less, saturated. Because Tootoo looks like when you go to a colour picker and go all the way to the top right.
Things I would do with your redesigns - change monsters back to their original colors - change back most of the lights and stuff -throw these in the garbage I hate these
I think making them the same shade of grey makes them more lifeless and unappealing to see, but the rest of the redesigns i think are cool tho i prefer much more the originals
The redesigns are very interesting but them having the exact shade of grey seem a bit off putting, Maybe if they all had different base colors and still make a brighter light and color would be the same. But I dont really know this is just my opinion
Things I would change 1.Spytraps prey should still have his eyes naturally glow.maybe white so it’s still works but glowing grey feels so wrong 2.gobs inner mouth should still be a noticeable red,you only see it when playing so it really shouldn’t have been tweaked 3.flourless should still light up In a rainbow, but it’s hair should stay constantly green 4.fiddlement should have it’s skirt turn an orangish when playing, like in game 5.bulbous bulb should glow a bit brighter,it’s just a bit dull
this is a great idea but i think that they shouldn't all me the Exact same gray color they should have a little more color to em or at least different shades of gray
I think it would be better if the island brightness was slightly darker or have an option to turn on night mode where anything that has light lit up only be visible but only exclusive to light island. And when the light monsters do their part, its makes like a light show and make the light island more pleasable to see. Also for the non light monsters during night mode they get accompanied by fire fly's around them.
Awesome video! I think fluoress should stay the way she currently is because she’s like the “main one.” One thing I think would be interesting would be if they all started completely greyscale but then changed into muted colors when they played that slowly faded back to true gray.
it would have been better if they kept their colors og colors but the already lit ones like pluckbill and bulbo turned into the same color and they lit up like the rest
Quite interesting to see how divided everyone is on the idea of redesigned Light Monsters!

I think making the entire monsters just purely grey doesnt work, like gobs inside mouth has no color and the others also have parts that should be colored.
A small little consistency issue for Magical Sanctum in that G’day does not emit light in any way. Tell me if I missed something about them.
My personal opinion
I personally prefer the not same shade of grey designs, though that's personally my opinion
I do like how much lighter all the light monsters are though
Maybe change some colours though, eg: I thing tootoos brighter tutu looked better, and fluoress should probably still be rainbow.
Bulbo was pretty good lightwise
Spytrap is a bit too bright, and maybe the wrong colour
Gob also looks a bit wrong
But good redesigns anyways
It actually would be neat to see a mod with these redesigns.
You didn’t even mention my favourite light elemental. Show some support for Fiddlement
Hmm monsters with no color until when they sing is pretty genius
Ok, so personally, my opinion overall is that there are some good ideas and some bad ones. The light monsters being entirely desaturated seemed bad to me personally.
-Fluoress not lighting up every color ruins her whole point. She is the PURE light monster, so she should be every shade of light. Also the 'Gob Grey' doesn't look right on her when she is lit up
-Gob was made infinitely better, with the simple change of giving color and making his light actually light
-Spytrap
honestly should have been the green one.
-Bulbo looks nearly identical aside from lighting up more, so I like his changes
-Fiddlement having his orange floof was what made him one of my favorites, so removing his orange made him lose what made him special to me, however, making it slightly more desaturated may look nice. It is also offputting having his face not lit while idle, as I can imagine that would make him look lifeless
-I can't believe I didn't realize Blow't was represented by the ring on the element.
BAP DAP DAP DAP
"harmonious, soft, serene"
Pluckbill: I've come to say hi.
"Beaks are supposed to include mouths" it's a Monster.
I don't like the plainess of it and the chosen colours for each monster, but I want to see them light up like the video with the ingame colour
I like when fluoress was the first a whistle sound just came.

He hasn’t changed
(Talking about the Dermit to the right)
I personally don’t like really these redesigns. I can’t really put my finger on what’s bothering me about them, though. Making them only have the color they represent is cool. But for an idea for the next one, maybe cover the Psychic element next? Some monsters like Bonkers and Tapricorn really don’t strike me of having Psychic capabilities.
The Light Monsters need more variation, and they should illuminate more when playing.
literally the most NPC tint of grey huh
I was thinking of a scenario when you mentioned all the parts of Symbol Canonicity, here's how it goes:
The Light Island stops glowing, and everything goes silent.
0:06 gob bout to eat spytrap fr💀💀
I Hate That The Monster Redesign Made All The Monsters Have The Same Color As Each Other And It’s Really Bad, I Liked The Original Color Scheme Sense It Looks Colorful
I’ve always liked the idea of designing your own elemental monsters. Like perhaps rainbow or time or dream. Or maybe hybrids of pre existing elements like plasma and earth or psychic and cold. Maybe you could try designing something like that?
Sure! I quite like the ideas of Time Elementals, perhaps it could be a fan made Magical Island.
@@Creeptanium where is fiddlement?
Them all being the same shade I wasn't huge on but the light changes is really cool
You truly put the Light in Light Island. Great redesigns, I'd like to see them in-game!

All the other wublins: *turning green*
Dermit: *just being dermit*
Feel like the original look of Flores looked better than just having green
I think their variations of gray is just foreshadowing of their glowing colour. No need to make them all grey. And even if so ya should've kept the value. Some must be darker some are lighter than usual gray.
I do agree with everything else tho.
Except tootoo's tutu glowing. It resembles fluoress too much. Better make the shoes light up.
Aight great video anyways
Keep it up
This is a well made video, I'm in a like-dislike feeling with the idea. Though can't deny it's really well thought out and good.
I wouldn’t change the color sense it gives them a little bit more character with the different shade of gray
That whistle with Flouress tho
When
That is a LOL moment.

To be honest, I didn't like the change that much, but bulbo change was amazing in my opinion
1:11 dermit did not change 😂
"A lot more pleasing to the eye" is this a joke
That grey hurts my soul why did you have to do that
Everything being gray isn’t very.. nice looking… it’s original design is unique and their light is different as it’s like harmony.
Exactly.
Wonder why light monsters are grey? Because the color of the rainbow combined always turns out grey or black!
0:20 idk why there was a whistle on there 😅
lol
they were so pretty i smiled 😭
Wow! I normally love your vids! Your the best! ^_^
I’m on the fence…maybe if someone edited these designs into the song so I could see them in action…I could get a better idea how it would work
I like the original designs, but these seem way cooler, good job! Here’s a rainbow
🌈
1:55 that's quite an exaggeration of the island's theme. Sure, they are supposed to look dull in colour and produce light when playing but to much of each can easily be very unappealing. While flouress and blow't are by far the two monsters that fit that criteria well they are also the single element monster of light and quad/boss of light island. Being the two that have the most vibrant chance should really just be their thing.
You Made Them More Badder
I think that they should keep their redesigned colours (other than Fluoress’ that should stay rainbow) but keep the different shades of grey. Making them the same just makes them look even more boring than they already were.
And also, the lights should be a little less, saturated. Because Tootoo looks like when you go to a colour picker and go all the way to the top right.
Could you please release the pngs of these images
Things I would do with your redesigns
- change monsters back to their original colors
- change back most of the lights and stuff
-throw these in the garbage I hate these
Same.
Everyone watching this video: *impressed* Spytrap: “OH GOD HELP ME!!!”
I personally think this is amazing, it’s honestly better then how they actually look
Light Island took 50 shdes of Gray personally
This light up my world
Bro these monsters look alike the most out of all the other islands wdym
To me, wublin Island seemed like the monster gods played a game where you make the most random and chatoic monsters possible
Glowbes would be perfect for light island
I think florecst should stay rainbow cause I think she’s supposed to be like a xylophone
Also (in the redesign) we can’t see spytrap so well
Things I would change
1.Spytraps prey should still have his eyes naturally glow.maybe white so it’s still works but glowing grey feels so wrong
2.gobs inner mouth should still be a noticeable red,you only see it when playing so it really shouldn’t have been tweaked
3.flourless should still light up In a rainbow, but it’s hair should stay constantly green
4.fiddlement should have it’s skirt turn an orangish when playing, like in game
5.bulbous bulb should glow a bit brighter,it’s just a bit dull
this is a great idea but i think that they shouldn't all me the Exact same gray color they should have a little more color to em or at least different shades of gray
Wublin Island gets even better because of the loot it gives everyday if you farm it
i think fluoress should stay rainbow like blow't, i mean fluoress is just only light element so i thought that would make sense
Creeptanium, I'm sorry to say this, you have fangirls. I am not one of them.
I liked the originals better but I wish they had more light emission
I think it would be better if the island brightness was slightly darker or have an option to turn on night mode where anything that has light lit up only be visible but only exclusive to light island.
And when the light monsters do their part, its makes like a light show and make the light island more pleasable to see.
Also for the non light monsters during night mode they get accompanied by fire fly's around them.
Awesome video! I think fluoress should stay the way she currently is because she’s like the “main one.” One thing I think would be interesting would be if they all started completely greyscale but then changed into muted colors when they played that slowly faded back to true gray.
You Are Wubbox You Made The Wublins 👁👄👁
I wish this was real! Fantastic designs bro and ideas, really ingenious!
it would have been better if they kept their colors og colors but the already lit ones like pluckbill and bulbo turned into the same color and they lit up like the rest
If they were all the same shade of gray, how will they make rare and epic light monsters.
The rares and epics don't really need to follow suit. Just the commons at least.
“If the wubilns were all the same color”. Dermit:
Why did you put a "whistle sound" on fluoress?
