Robbie is such a tragic boss, if you follow his questline it’s revealed that he’s suffering from a curse that is slowly killing him, eventually you find him fully corrupted and guarding the entrance to the village of sloth...
(from a purely gameplay perspective though, his cloning attack is kinda BS but i’m able to overlook it since he’s such a great boss in like, every other way)

I always liked that point of the fight where he makes clones of himself that you have to fight all at once while he hides behind a barrier.

The hardest boss in Dark Souls I have ever faced. I still can't beat him
Jack the Ripper here's some advice...
*COME BACK WHEN YOUR NUMBER 1, CAUGHT A GOOD GUY, LIKE A REAL SUPERHERO, AND NOT EXPECTING SPORTAFLOP*
The tip is to read his body language. Thats the only way you can tell if the attack is a fake out, and try ang as much damage in before his rotten meter fills up.
The only true way to beat him is to gain the stand sport 7 or better sporticus 8 ultra. This stand will protect you from Rotten's carbohydrate swords and will deal an extra 300 damage if you can land a perfect punch in the face.
You can never beat him
You need a equally powerful meme, of which we might not even know of it exists, to outweigh his rottenmeter and overpower him during his unleash attack.
There is actually a secret boss in dark souls: remastered. If you beat the game 100% and have found all items and beat every boss, you fight robbie rotten who is the hardest boss in the game.
Ironic. To battle the King of Laziness, you must be a King of Diligence.

This isn't a new dark souls game. It's a dlc called Plight of Lazy Town which will be released on 4/20/2069
After destroying cancer, Robbie returns to Lazy Town to claim his rightful place as God King of Lazy Abyss.
