It's my first time seriously playing a league since the Atlas Tree was introduced. Thanks to the league challenges, I spent A LOT of orbs of unmaking changing it to match every challenge, and I feel like it's the only mechanic in the game where you don't need to watch hours of content to get the gist of it. Just do what you like or what you need, money will flow anyway.
You're *THE* content creator I always recommend for POE. You're always clear, chillin, and casual friendly! Plus the videos are straight to the point and very high quality! I always give a like when I see an upload because the video delivers every time! Good stuff! 💙
so true, i like ur videos Subtractem, the way you present content is interesting and i like the uniticity of content you do. For my personal preeference the content i like the most is expedition, heist and altars, and when u do what u like its more easy to polish strat over them and do it like 1000X time per weeks :)
Great showcase of the though process. One thing that I would like to add that you might try out in the future regarding the first league start tree. While the shaping wheels + Kirac mission node are great in an SSF enviroment, where the reliance is higher on Kirac for maps, mini-boss maps (guardians, conq, etc...) and various missions (harvest juice etc...), for trade going Wandering Path is better. Now, the key thing to why that is stands in the value of Shaping Wheels. They have great value when you have all 4 voidstones in, as your atlas is blocked from dropping maps of tier 15 or lower. Which means you get full value out of the equity system. Because the total chance to upgrade the tier of a map drop is 100% when you have all 4 shaping notables, basically every map drop that gets converted to equity gives triple value. However, when you have no voidstones and you can drop every tier of map, upgrading a t1 map to a t2 when u are in low reds is not that much value at all. On top of that, even if you take every single chance to drop a connected map node, your total chance is only 68%. Now, if you path via the left or right side (instead of the Kirac wheel) towards Wandering Path and you take all the shaping wheels nodes apart from the notables, you only drop from 100% chance for a map to be 1 tier higher to 80%. What you gain though is the ability to fully utilize the value of the small connected map drop nodes. With a lot fewer extra points invested (which you otherwise would not spec into), you can get it up to 100%, guaranteeing that every map has a mob that will drop a connected map. This is basically a way to "cheese" equity if you want, because connected maps can only be within one tier of the map you are currently running. As a side-note, I know that you give up on notables as you are progressing the atlas, and a lot of mechanics you want to invest into are empowered by their notables (eg... essences). However, there are not that many mechanics that you get a lot of benefit out of while completing your atlas anyway. Stuff like blight, expedition, harvest, legion, all require you to be in t14+ to get full value out of anyway. Once again, great video!!! Keep them coming
I've landed on shrines, delve and harvest as the funnest and most profitable strat. Maps are super fast, getting sanctums and yellow juice with shrines to zoom around. Adding delve gives a really insane amount of currency and the option for Aul's hunting which sells 6 div unid or up to 50div. Delve doesn't take that much extra time comparative to something like expedition which surprised me a lot. its essentially just currency printing without the boredom of heist.
Great video, even better ending message. Loved it. Currently still getting into red maps, so I have all the shaping nodes. I'm also specced into most of the harvest nodes and I sell the yellow juice to buy gear upgrades for my EA champ. Nothing crazy but I'm enjoying it. I just crafted my +3 bow, rolled gems over to 20% and the character is progressing along nicely.
At first I was like "meh another atlas strategy video" but I loved your discussion of the progression of the atlas tree, really helpful for a casual like me. I also ran shrines and it was very nice, want to pass on a suggestion from reddit I tried as well - 2 points to get Packed with Energy. Using my Niko missions that stacked up passively, getting free damage/movement/max resist is great!
14:25 Iv been running this for most of the league. Right now I’m doing Metamorphs and harvest and with double small passives the chance to get them in your maps is 80% then with tormented spirits 120% quantity for possessed and touched mods
Could you please please do a uber boss guide video (boss mechanics, recommended flasks, pantheons etc.)? There is surprisingly few information about ubers on youtube. Thank you so much, love your content!
I decided to spec breach, harvest and exarch: Breach - a lot of Chosen div card + hidden invitations, basically you get 4 breachstones every 3-4 maps and you can swap them with 400 purple harvest juice. And Maven gave me 19 flawless breachstones out of 30 hiddens, 70+ quant Harvest and exarch - steady, predictable income
1:21 Last league or so, there was a way to just copy the redirect made by the poe profile and distribute that, but every time I try this now, I'll get a permission error. I hope GGG re-enables that sometime, because it was great to be able to check your favorite streamers Atlas for inspiration :c
harvest was just so valuable , ive been running harvest+deli most of the league , i like to drop my own ilvl 84 clusters and then harvest craft multi notable's on them to sell , and then use yellow to synth craft bases , basically eater of worlds high quantity atlas tree only harvest and deli not locked out , you find the sanctum you check for a few alters try stack up map quantity ontop of fragments and you clear the harvest last for some juicey high quant drops , makes around a solid 2 div pur hour and then im crafting and selling multiple div clusters and gear and synth bases for huge profits along the way . shrines are cool dident use them but i been zoomin and i dont like to spent to craft the shrine on the map so i dunno if thats for me , gives me unreasonable norms when im trying to gage how ready i am to kill uber bosses , farmed lots of uber sirus for the splodey flask in the end
I love seing my fps drops so i always run wandering path.. cycloning around the map with explosions.. god it feel so good.. while forcing heist/deli/ritual(sextant), shrine(kirac) and harvest(60% chance from atlas tree).. 24 map per day as a stress reliever..
Meanwhile I'm just farming simulacrums, first time farming wave 30 and I'm loving it, chill and kill mobs without worrying about picking up loot in the middle of fighting Thanks a lot for this vid, always wondered how people come up with farming strategies, is there a way to find out the average div/hour of players?
Man the sanctum is so fun. I am doing a wandering path strategy too. And it drops raw divines, which maybe less than a profit from an actual strat, but it is more fun :D I just wish you could store a whole sanctum run. It is really annoying to split a sanctum run into 4...
+1 for the overall message. Trying to play efficiently burns me out hard, and ironically this league just playing how I wanted netted me more currency than I've ever seen just because I'm playing more. (Also sanctum OP but shhhh)
You are by far my favorite PoE RUclipsr. Your educational stuff is so great. I have a VERY important question, though: What is the most important step a man can take?
Why is the Winged Scarab sextant necessary for that free sextant farming? Is it to use the Winged Scarabs to buff pack size? Is the 15% (3 Winged) extra pack size that important?
I usually just pick the content that feels good to play with my build and avoid the stuff I don't like, that's all I did. My build is good on metamorphs and expedition so that's where my currency comes from this league.
I wanna second was sub says about make sure you're having fun regardless of what other people are doing. Seems like everybody on earth loves Sanctums. I have 2 seperate friends who have gotten mirrors from them. To me they are the absolute antithesis of what I personally want to do and enjoy. I'm all about massive density and satisfying explosions and not worrying about dodging every single attack. I did 3 of them to work towards achievements and I needed to turn the game off and go for a walk because I was so bored. And so I don't run them. Just because something is popular and/or profitable, doesn't mean it's good for YOU. Harvest+Expi and Deli+Alva+Abyss juice might be mind numbing drudgery for you, despite how fun (and profitable) they are for me.
Thank you for the thoughts behind your atlas Sub 😊 Question: Since you like Delirium, how come you haven't taken the +1 rewards after completing the map? Not enough points?
Hey could you let us know which maps you're running? I've been running city Square and selling them, but deli isn't great on that map. What map other than strand is good for deli?
Yeah hard agree, been miserably boss rushing 4 days in a row to pay for my hh. ( I mean TS doesnt feel as fun without hh) and now i can just blast maps with the stuff i think is fun.
Honestly I got sick of picking up chaos and awakened sextants. Going for raw quantity nodes on blue altars is strong and the downsides are less punishing for the builds that I'm playing (meteor when use a flask is very annoying)
Thanks for sharing ur atlas, pretty cool! I am running harvest + legion + essences this league, been enjoying so far. For pack size on your deli, you could also travel to the Growing Hordes node & get 20% + pack size for 4 scarabs which are pretty much 2c (sort of free)
My biggest question is how do you generate that many orbs of unmaking. I feel like I spend infinite currency converting them at the vendor and I hate that.
Funny enough my gf has been so demotivated because she cant figure out what to do when she plays the game that doesnt involve trading, isnt super complicated and doesnt feel like youre missing out. Hopefully she can use this, though i think shes subbed and probably already seen it lol
I think my favorite part about your videos is that you encourage people to be creative and preemptive with their strategies rather than showcasing something that will be copy-pasted. Thanks!
All atlases in the video are in the description.

Your analytical style, clear voice and presentation is what makes you stand out. Keep it going champ.
Thanks, great explanation. I respecced my atlas to your 'Final' one even though I was having fun with my setup because I want to be optimal.
best thing about this poe season is finding your channel, will def follow for next season
Thanks Sub! The explanation of the thought process and when each tree is/was relevant was super useful for both this league and going forward.

I have been going all over the atlas tree this time. Lots of fun nodes that are basically all good. They did a very good job with the atlas tree.
"There's always money in the expedition stand" lol was that an Arrested Development reference? Awesome.

It is SUCH! A personal choice. Lmfao I’ve changed my atlas so much and have had success in plenty of places.
Hey could you let us know which maps you're running? I've been running city Square and selling them, but deli isn't great on that map. What map other than strand is good for deli?
I mostly have been doing Atoll/Coves and Strand/Crimson Temple as pairs this league.
Yeah hard agree, been miserably boss rushing 4 days in a row to pay for my hh. ( I mean TS doesnt feel as fun without hh) and now i can just blast maps with the stuff i think is fun.
Grats on the hh
Great content as always! But more importantly, any good NH hikes to recommended?
The presidential trail is a classic!
what map are you doing though?
Is there a specific reason you changed to eater of worlds in the later stages of the league?

noticed final atlas has harvest blocked, but harvest small node taken
Just a random dangler, ran out of unmakings
What map are you running with the last atlas tree just wondering
Atoll + Coves
Thanks for sharing ur atlas, pretty cool!
I am running harvest + legion + essences this league, been enjoying so far.
For pack size on your deli, you could also travel to the Growing Hordes node & get 20% + pack size for 4 scarabs which are pretty much 2c (sort of free)
always money in the banana stand
I have respecced my tree a hilarious amount of times.
My biggest question is how do you generate that many orbs of unmaking. I feel like I spend infinite currency converting them at the vendor and I hate that.
Chances into regrets into unmaking. I get enough to sustain that. You can also just run red altars and tons will drop.
@@subtractem as I was thinking about your atlas strat I remembered about the red alters dropping them
Anyone here could make a atlas passive tree for abyss? i want try farm it a bit. Kinda tired of expedition/legion etc
I took all abyss nodes last league, not to much profit unless you find some good jewels but the xp is fantastic
Funny enough my gf has been so demotivated because she cant figure out what to do when she plays the game that doesnt involve trading, isnt super complicated and doesnt feel like youre missing out. Hopefully she can use this, though i think shes subbed and probably already seen it lol

Best mechanic theyve added in a while. Yes.
I pick what I want to play that day so yes I waste a lot of unmaking orbs also
