After this young couple lived in their first van for 1.5 years, they decided to tackle a new build focused on Winter Vanlife! This incredible Sprinter build has heated flooring, a heated shower, separate waterproof gear closet, a massive electrical system and two beds on board!

I love when builders utilize the roof space for things like the bed! Look how awesome it is and how much it opens up the back area for them to have A REAL LOUNGE AREA! Incredible!
Game changer
100% agree with this, if you don't need a raised garage for bikes and bulkier storage this is as good as a layout can be in a van!
I love Lucas Ravizzas van
Love the front garage space/pass through bathroom layout! I’ve been considering it for my build so it’s great to see another builder pull it off.
It’s so worth it !!
it was very cool to be in personally, the transition from front seats and through the shower to the living space was just the right size, all the while keeping the functionality of a well sized shower!
Great van! Love the colors they used and the layout.
Thank you 🙏🏼
same here, the colors where beautiful while making sure it was not too dark! they crushed this build
So much in a small space, a home on wheels, very practical.
Thank ya!
its a delicate balancing not overly stuffing a van since it's already such a small space, Caleb and Ramsey did a great job making sure the layout of the van still felt open!
Thanks for having us!! 👊🏼🚐
absolutely Ramsey, had a great time meeting you guys!
You both, your builds, your travels and your production quality are all amazing!
@@mitchellbarnow1709 thanks Mitchell! Your words mean a lot
@@ramseyroamsI watched all of your videos and enjoyed them immensely. I look forward to whatever comes next in your lives.
Hey, I love the shower set-up that's probably inspired from Lucas Ravizza but I don't understand why you both have decided not to put the toilet in the shower instead of having a "garage" here, that way you'd have a permanent/private toilet, and you can probably put your gears somewhere else..
Did you find a technical issue to install the toilets in the shower?
I'm currently planning/drawing my future build and I'll have the same shower set-up but install an incinerating toilet where you have your garage so I'll have a big permanent bathroom and no need to deal with 💩 :)
Yes- Lucas played a big roll in the design. We needed the gear closet & and we needed it the size it is because our water tank, plumbing, electrical, and diesel heater took up the majority of storage in the back under the seating area. We could’ve went with some external storage but didn’t want to add any length or width to the van + no room at the top with the sun deck we built out.
We don’t mind the toilet in the middle really, but I don’t think it would’ve been any issue to install it in the shower!
I love how big the van feels. Some van builds look so small, but this one, even though it’s dark, seems just really big
Thank you! The elevated bed changes everything
@@ramseyroams Yeah, definitely! I am interested in van life, and have been thinking about how I’d set up my van. I really love the elevated bed layout. I feel like the bed setup is the most important factor in the van, bc it’s so big.
@@Ciaran_Connell Totally, there’s pros and cons. Our previous build had more storage, but no space to hangout which was super important for us this time around
@@ramseyroams Yeah, I feel like having an open space is important. One design I think I really like is a Murphy bed. I think that’s my favorite design right now, until I find another one, lol. But I also really like the elevated bed design. Idk, lmao
Regarding the black background paint, I've read that it's a common misconception that dark spaces seem smaller than light spaces. The darkness of the ceiling and cushions actually give the illusion of a far off plane of space. Check out some design pages and you'll see what I mean.
Wow! Love it! Great job!
Thank you 🙏🏼
This van looks soooo good 🔥😍
thanks Christina, it was even better in person! thanks for watching
You and your van is beautiful. Great to see!
glad you enjoyed the tour!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Well-done!! Amazing build!
Agreed they did a wonderful job!
Thank you!!
That wood is GORGEOUS! may I ask what stain on what timber it is? Still have unstained wood in my van as looking for the right shade, and this is just what I had in mind, not too dark not too light!
agreed, they did a phenomenal job making sure it wasn't too dark, the stain looked great in person.
Thank you!! We used one layer of Minwax's Early American and two of their Dark Walnut.

Walnut stained cheap pine and birch is not walnut, LOL
Couldn’t agree more. SMH
Nothing “nice” about public bathrooms
Nonsense, misting shower heads save water but are hardly “super nice”
You seem like a pleasure to be around
Could be the ugliest, most amateur build I have seen
Thanks so much, this means a lot!
@@ramseyroams🤣 Some people just can't get through the day without being mean 🤣 Love the way you ignored the fool 👏
