I have a few Victorinox knives, 58mm classic SD, huntsman and this one, I’ve had a classic SD on my keychain for years, it’s a very useful tool, but the Alox Bantam is just about the most perfect pocket knife, keep mine in the watch pocket in my jeans along with a small flashlight.
@@MrDkgio totally! I still love the classic sd. Got one in my center console, sewing kit and toiletry kit. I don't even think about them. That's their home and they're there when I need it. I'm really glad the Alox Bantam so low key. Honestly... it keeps it cheaper than the plastic scale version. It's dirt cheap!! Such value. That's why I call it it Batman.
I have Victorinox Secretary in my Altoid kit. Bantam is a great knife for a man who wears a suit everyday but still wants a minimal knife that won't bulge out the pockets of his suit jacket.
I have had the plastic scales version for about a month, and they are all scratched up just from sitting in my pocket with a set of keys. I am thinking about upgrading to the alox.
You will not be disappointed. I do have one recommendation - They have an Alox model called The Pioneer X. Look it up. Check its features, then shop around. It's the best bang for the buck. I've have one going on 9 years. That's the one that changed my mind about the brand 👍
Not a big fan of the plastic scales..sometimes I put some torque on my tinker and I feel like I’m going to break them..victorinox needs to make alox scales that can accommodate scale tools including the pin and pen..
I have the "One" in alox and i think the bantam will be my next alox purchase. Great little minimalist tool
