Outkast it’s no question. I spent a few summers in ATL in Ellenwood. Outkast, Goodie Mob used to be at the park on Sundays deep. Music playing nobody beefing with them. I was from Florida but Outkast was our soundtrack in HS. Those first 3 albums put Atlanta on the map nationally!!!

Outkast set the bar too high for a lot of artists. Rappers like Gucci and Future made it a lil’ lower for folks trying to get out the hood with a lil talent but nowhere near the level of a Kast. I remember at one point Gucci spiteful towards certain artists because he couldn’t commit the mindfulness and nuance of some of those cats and didn’t want to. He a real nigga that’s fly and wants to rap for the clubs and real niggas; That’s it. As opposed to cultivating something that can move you spiritually or impact your life in a divine way.
