This used to be my sister's favourite band. I almost always teased her for being a clichéd teenage one directioner. She in turn teased me for being a dorky Marvel fan. One year ago yesterday I lost her and her parents to a car crash. I miss her so much. This was on my recommended today and I almost burst into tears in public.
I hope one day I've moved on enough that when I'm reminded of her, I feel happy to have memories of her flash in my mind instead of feeling absolutely miserable. Just thought I'd share this.

Louis leads the chorus, but he doesn’t carry on his own. They all do. It wouldn’t sound as good if he was singing on his own. The harmonies make it better.

I haven’t been keeping up with the news about the boys in the recent years, but hearing Liam’s untimely and tragic passing yesterday came as a shock was still a lot to process. I may be pass my 1D obsession phase, but I will grieve the loss of one of the boys that made my teenage life colorful.

anna jolie their like little 12 year olds it's adorable! haha I didn't know them very well at all when they started out, couldn't even tell you their names. But last year I found a video of them and I can see how people can get so addicted to them! I seriously watched like 5 interviews a night for a couple months when I first caught on. Yep that’s almost every one of their songs! Niall’s, Liam’s, Zayn, and Harry’s voice all blends together during the chorus and Louis’ voice shines like a diamond and carries the whole damn song 🥰🥺 I hope Lou knows that he was just as important, if not a bit more, as the other boys to the success of One Direction. Plus in the later years he co-wrote almost all their songs. Ugh he’s such a gem. I love him so much. I can’t wait to see him and Harry whenever their tours get rescheduled! I already have tickets and I can’t wait, it sucks that corona happened but y’know, safety is obviously top priority and I would wait as long as it takes to see those boys live 🥰
