    Don't forget to tell the stock flow numbers on the factory heads.and would be great if you can put both heads through the IOP program. Thanks for the exciting videos on this.

      That is the plan I'm wanting to do side by side comparisons because I believe the Stock head is too big.. but we will see if I'm right about that

      @@UnityMotorSportsGarage Great. Thank you. I agree. I couldn't believe GM would put such a big valve a port in these heads for truck application. Years ago it was sprint car numbers.

    I'll be following this one, Andy. I am a Ford guy, but I run an LS3 in my boat. I take a lot of ribbing from my longtime gearheads, but have to admit GM got it right on this motor. The prevailing paradigm is that the stock heads will suffice for most applications. More than adequate for mine. Anxious to see the cost benefit analysis on the AFR's.

      Andy, while you and DV are comparing the heads, I'd like to know why GM casts that big ugly boss in the chamber close to the spark plug?. I would think it would promote detonation@@UnityMotorSportsGarage

    Wish you could get your hands on an edelbrock cross ram for these heads. That intake has killer performance. Pretty sure Richard got 1.45ft-lb/cube when he tested it.

      If I'm not mistaken it's an older BTR grind that is no longer offered 239/254 .631"/.610" on a 114+3

    Work Truck is right. It just Works! That torque converter sounds like it's right on the money. It just jumps off the starting line. Of course 2800 lbs helps...

      Robert I use Eric Hester of M&E engine services in Shelby NC. They do all of my machine work. Maybe I will see you at the track someday

      I would like to see the effects of a narrow LSA on the higher ports. Basically as a myth buster towards the mass cam grinders and salesmen that cling to the wide lsa theory.

      Whats it in? Its hard to beat the btr stage 3 car cam unless its something super heavy,

      It’s in a truck but btr are junk if you are using it get rid of it asap and buy a black magic stage 2 cam and see some serious horse power I need optimum performance for my ls3 and btr is off the shelf junk

      Trust me I’m a ls guy for years I’m from Detroit I been swapping ls motors since 2002 btr every cam he makes kills off power I need a cam formula that Andy knows he knows the right cam formula I really need his help bro all btr cams are made off more exhaust there made wrong that’s not what the motor wants to do

      These AFR's are supposedly 72cc and Im not sure whats Sammy's head will pour but the main thing is to get them equal
