      I put some plastic beads on my hook traces too, some are luminous!
      It is after Christmas, but I hope the fish will still find my hook traces attractive! 🙂
      Traces or hook traces in UK, are known as, hook snoods, 🎣

    🎣 Hi Cathy, looked like a good day for fishing being cloudy too!
    The fish come in closer then!
    Always good to fish in water that is deeper closer to shore, and into the chanels that wash open.
    Casting onto the outer banks will also be good, and with the incoming tide! 🎣

    • @Fishin-Girl
      @Fishin-Girl  Год назад +1

      Yes! I love looking at nautical maps of the shoreline. I look for places where the deeper water is closer!

      @@Fishin-Girl-
      at some sea areas, I look at the shore from a higher place to see where the darker, deeper water is, if there are rocks there, I may take a photo at low tides, as I prefer fishing close to or off the rocks, 🎣

    Where can I get the newer fish bites st

    • @Fishin-Girl
      @Fishin-Girl  Год назад

      It depends on where you live. If you’re in NE Florida you can get them in many tackle shops, or at the Fishbites trading post in St. Augustine, FL. If you’re not in the area you can buy them online from Fishbites directly or on websites like Ninja Tackle. You might be able to find them at Walmart in the fishing section or at Walmart.com. Hope that helps!

    what style of weight are you using?

      I use Sputnik sinkers mostly on the beach unless there are rocks, and then I will use a Carolina rig with an egg sinker. I get my Sputniks from The Sinker Guy, he makes the best ones I’ve used. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

      🎣 I use bottle sinkers; and spoon sinkers - which I made,
      the only time grapnel, pyramid and cone sinkers are better, is when there is a Strong sidewash current!....
      Using pyramid and cone sinkers is having the top flat side dragging back and adding tension to a rod and stress on the gears in a reel! 🎣

    • @Fishin-Girl
      @Fishin-Girl  Год назад +1

      @@michaeleverton4882 I’m not sure if I’ve heard of bottle sinkers. I’ll have to look that up. Is there another name for them?
