That was so wonderfully done. I appreciated how you broke it down and used giant needles with contrasting yarn color so that we could easily see what you were doing. Clean and simple! Thanks!
Just what I was looking for! Super clear and slow and simple. The repetition at the end of the video also super helpful to see how you get into the “flow” of it. Thank you! ☺️👏🏻
Thank you very much for sharing! Now I understand what the other people were talking about in their videos. Using jumbo needles and yarn helped tremendously! And clockwise or COUNTER, does it matter?! Every video says clockwise and correcting themselves when they said counterclockwise. The fact of the matter is you can see it. Thank you......
Actually, it depends on the angle you look from. If you look more from below and behind (knitter's side), it's clockwise; if you look up and over from the other side, it's counterclockwise. Interestingly, that's the same reason magnets always have both a north and a south pole - a clockwise electron "spin" from one side looks like a counterclockwise spin from the other side.
It's strange, she puts her loops on her left needle differently from how I've always done it! I always kind of twist the loop after I've pulled it through before I put it on left needle! (otherwise it LOOKS twisted! 😅)
@@br6480 I checkout their website and it mentions it helps to create a neat stable edge but it’s good for projects that need stretchy edges like maybe a knitted headband
I watched like 1000 different Vids on how to cast on none of then were as simple and straightforward as yours thx😀

This is really excellent. Many would have made this method appear confusing.

Watched it as am making hats from scarfie yarn. Great vid for hearing and non hearing. Thank you. Will have a go.
This is very easy to see and follow. Very helpful, and just what I needed. Thanks!

Excellent tutorial!
Excellent tutorial for learning the cable cast-on method. Thank you!!
That's not clockwise, that's COUNTER clockwise for those that are confused.

Actually, it is clockwise.
Perfect tutorial! Thanks.
Perfect... The way you have explained...just love it

I twist the loop before putting it on the left needle also! Looks pleasant in my opinion.
isn't the yarn wrapped around the right hand needle COUNTER clockwise, and not clockwise?
I know, that bothered me too. She is very obviously wrapping the yarn around the needle counterclockwise, as is always done in normal knitting!
Question: are the last two stitches, the two that are overlapping, knit as two stitches in the next row?
Thank you very much which is very helpful! :)
Clear cut and easy to follow even tho I find this cast on super wonky lol maybe cuz I've been using the German cast on for a little while now
It was very easy to do
Thanks for this! Am I a dummy, or isn't she looping it COUNTER clockwise?
Looks counter clockwise to me too.
Yup it's counter...I always loop counter.
Rebecca wax painting
Absolutely it's counterclockwise
I found it easier to use a small crochet hook to pull the stitches through.
That's a great idea!
Holy shit knitting gets more complicated the further I get into it.
This is almost right.
Anything special about cable cast on?
Please do mention it.
I have a request for you, make a plus size top down sweater (44 bust size). T I A
I was wondering the same thing. What’s it’s purpose?

After 2nd stitch 1:22
No audio unmuted not talking doesn't help.
Can't you see what she is doing?
