The staff at Dirt Bike Magazine spends the day comparing the all new KTM 250SXF to the new Triumph TF250X at Glen Helen Raceway. We bring out a few test riders and gather their feedback to give a raw comparison on these two motorcycles. The KTM and Triumph both have good qualities to them. Which one is better? Well that's up to you but we hope in this video you are able to gather enough information and make a choice. THIS IS A VLOG! Come have some laughs with us at the track and enjoy this completely behind the scenes day of testing with the crew. Thanks for hanging with us!

I own a Triumph TF 250 X for over 3 months and I love it, the frame of this bikes is great and this bike is so easy to ride. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing. We love to hear from everyone and their thoughts on their personal bikes
We wanted a test, but got a vlog instead. 🤦♂️
You can always comment here and ask what you wanna see. This was day 1 of comparing bikes. A lot of the media will call that a "test", we call it day 1. Lot of time goes into it. Like we mentioned...we haven't even had these two bikes on the dyno at Pro Circuit yet. Want to give our subscribers more info as we keep going. Sorry you are upset
@@DirtBikeMagazine that's cool. But explain this is not a test in the description maybe.
ha ha I was just thinking the opposite. The banter is fun. I've seen thousands of KTM circle a track at fast amateur speeds. A few laps is plenty. If Carson Brown was piloting it then 4 laps :>) Deegan 6 laps. Was fun seeing the Triumph. The busting on each other is half the fun. More Banter!!!
WP suspension sucks, KYB much better.
As an "older guy" who has ridden nothing but 2 strokes my entire life it's remarkable how high these new thumpers rev !!
Another day in paradise
Not a bad day of riding dirt bikes!
Chain lube goes on the inside of the chain silly.
One thing I learned is that 65 or 85 smoker out there on the track sounds way cooler than either of these bikes...
Triumph wins !!!!!🎉🎉🎉
No 😂😂😂
Hangin' out with the Dirt Bike dudes for 40 minutes at Glen Helen on 2 great bikes, with a bonus cameo by dirtbiketv Jay Clark? What's not to love??!!
Thanks for the love! Appreciate that. Just trying to show some behind the scenes while we test =)
Why not run the Triumph against king of the hill YZ?
Why do people complain so much, it’s a vlog style video, if you want to hear their thoughts just skip to the end
It's already night
Is it just me or does the Triumph always sound like it bouncing off a rev limiter or missing every third stroke?
It does sound kinda funny don't she.kinda like a girl faking it and she just wants you off er'🎉
ilook@ my KTm seat all the time 256' metal
on 05 KTM 525bSX 06 cain villZ
The editing on this is painful. It's not only OK to leave in small gaps between words or sentences, but it's essential for viewing.I had to stop watching.
Sorry its not for you. We have traditional videos you can watch on here. Just look for TEST instead of VLOG. Hope that solves your problems
MXA is winning.
LOL
What is this country
America. Since 1776
@@DirtBikeMagazine Technically 'the United States of America',
as 'America' is the whole continent which includes many other countries.
Extremely tiring vid format.
There's a fast forward button. =). Thanks for hanging with us
15 minutes in and still waiting to see a bike move. I'm out guys.
Sorry you are upset
@@DirtBikeMagazine Not upset just misled. I'll finish watching later probably.
@@DirtBikeMagazine not really upset here just fast forwarding
What is the Triumph? like Yamaha body and KTM engine or original, is KYB the SSS?
It has its own DNA but the team from Triumph studied a lot of manufacturers bikes to come up with something on their own. YES KYB , same brand Yamaha comes with
'SSS' is only a marketing term used by Yamaha, there is nothing inherently different in them.
These forks are KYB AOS 48mm, same as what the Yamaha and many other bikes have,
what differs is each manufacturer's internal settings, Yamaha usually having them best dialed-in for most riders.
@@michellatour150 So it is a speed sensitive fork? Is the yamaha one leg air and one leg oil as well? Thx
@@DirtBikeMagazine
Triumph 250 weighs more then the ktm 450
Triumph 250 Bike: weight: 229.3 lbs
2025 KTM 450 SX-F: Weighs 226.2 lb
@@user-sp8eb6iz7f No, the KYB AOS (only Yamaha calls them SSS but they are mechanically the same) are spring forks having coil springs and oil damping in both sides. Aside from a new leaf spring midvalve design a few years ago, these forks are practically unchanged since introduced in 2006.
