It's a big day tomorrow and a great start for improving driver conditions in 2024. If the apps aren't going to show us love, then we won't show them love. Check out the Rideshare Professor's channel for further details on the strike/protest. We don't need more drivers to be killed, robbed or harmed. We just need to be able to earn fair wages as we provide excellent customer service to our great customers. Russ

Facebook verifies people. So does Twitter/X. These apps can easily verify if people/credit/debit cards are real with the current tech they apply to drivers. Just at least let the drivers know if it is a direct delivery, a gift, or verified customer. You should have the right to refuse service to non verified people, payment types, and non verified locations. How is this hard?

That’s a good point. The government would be the true source of info but they rarely doing anything well. Commercial enterprise would be a much faster and still accurate solution. Good ideas! Thank you Russ 😀👍🏻

Just adding my thoughts to this tough topic. There is no easy answer as you can likely tell. Doing something is better than nothing. What do you think? Russ

Hello Russryde! I recently saw your UBER EATS video, on how to reactivate account. I recently got deactivated and tried my best to file a professional appeal.. I Got deactivated for fraud and abuse, same reason as you, i was not able to provide screenshots but there would be times i would cancel an order because either Uber GPS will send me to different location or, customers address didn’t exist anymore.. my question to you is, how many days exactly did it take for you to get reactivated? I am a very unpatient person which i should learn to control that.. and do you recommend me calling them every single day? Will that maybe speed up the process? Thanks and hope you have a great day!

Hi Samuel, I would wait a few days. I forgot what they told me but it is in the video....it seemed like 3-5 business days to hear back? It's definitely much quicker than DoorDash. I hope you get back on. You are likely aware that you can't cancel too many orders once you have accepted them. I always call support vs. cancel so they pay me the cancel fee but they are cancelling or ending the order. I know that's too late now for you if that was a factor. Maybe start calling after a week? If you can't get back on check out the video description or look up the Rideshare Professor here on YT. He has a company that you can pay and they will help you appeal a deactivation. Let me know how it turns out. Russ
